Epilogue

After all this time,

I re-read the notes;

Piecing the fragile fragments of us together.

They were spread out all around,

Encircling me,

And the words haunted and comforted

Me both.

I love every moment I have

Ever spent with you and

I love all the moments

That have yet to come.

The notes made me remember.

Even things I thought I had forgotten

Are now as clear as

Droplets of water, scintillating in the

Sun.

I am glad we are still

Friends with Lauren and Will.

I think we both,

Owe them a lot.

Their baby daughter,

Is beautiful.

I will love the three of them

Eternally.

I know, bad things have happened and

More, undoubtedly, will occur.

But you're with me and

You make me brave

And strong.

Love drives us

To do strange, crazy, reckless things.

I never expected you to actually

Want me back.

But here we are

It has been an adventure,

Spending these years with you.

And, like I said,

Many more.
