Episode Ten ∞ The Boy Named Jack Frost
Last episode of Mr. Winter Meets Ms. Blondie!
Jack Frost did his real best (and his charming powers,) to try and win Rapunzel’s forgiveness, but was denied. In despair, Jack fled away, leaving Rapunzel only to her thoughts and her chameleon. Entirely, Rapunzel was left into thinking she made the most grievous fault ever.

Everything had been unusually calm since the day Jack Frost was last seen.
It wasn’t because that he was causing the whole mayhem. It wasn’t because he’s mad at Rapunzel, who’s mad at him at the same time. And it wasn’t because he was going off somewhere.
It’s because he figured every girl should get her distance.
For a confused girl like Rapunzel, all she could ever think was Jack finally gave up, or got his head bumped somewhere to the realization she wasn’t worth his handsome and precious time. All of a sudden, something of her was bothering her. Had she done the right thing, or just made everything worse?
After that day when Jack Frost left and never came back, there wasn’t a moment she felt vulnerable. Her frying pan was nowhere to be found—her single defence—and she was certain she knew nothing how to defend herself.
And for any reason, being locked up in a tower caused it.
When everything was so eerily quiet all of a sudden, or when the wind would blow so hard, Rapunzel’s heart was running miles. Even Pascal looked so perturbed that he would always camouflage into the colour of Rapunzel’s dress. Jack Frost sure brings cold and harsh winds when he arrives, but the recent events weren’t the same. It’s as if it had been easy for her to tell if Jack Frost was coming.
And not just some mist trying to ruin her life.
Like that one day Jack Frost visited Rapunzel, the wooden window was rattling harshly. If Mother Gothel had been there with her she might’ve been disturbed, but she was outside collecting fruits from trees.
At that moment, Rapunzel was busy baking cookies for their lunch. The wind ruffled the rest of her hair’s length, and before she could go to the window and check if her thoughts were right, someone spoke from above the ceiling.
“These smell good,” a voice of a boy said with delight.
She spun around, and Jack Frost dropped down on the floor. A naughty smile played on his lips, and his staff was pointed at Rapunzel again.
All of a sudden, her surprise turned into anticipation. It was two days since Jack last visited, and that was when he played a prank on Pascal. A part of Rapunzel felt offended for her chameleon friend, but also a part of her can’t help but laugh. Pascal almost danced with a snow figure Jack made out of thin air and his staff.
Now she can’t help but wonder what Jack had in his sleeves for today.
Rapunzel marched towards where Jack was. He was sniffing the freshly baked cookies, and she actually saw his blue eyes sparkle.
“You made this for me?” Jack grinned at her while holding a hot cookie. Rapunzel suddenly can’t help wonder why Jack can’t feel the heat.
