Last episode of Mr. Winter Meets Ms. Blondie!

Upon the fulfilment of her dream, Rapunzel goes out with the eccentric and mischievous Jack Frost—who presented himself as the spirit of winter. At the peak of their enjoyment, Mother Gothel arrived from her trip—from her encounter with Dementia.

The next day, Rapunzel woke up really late.

It was too much for her mother’s displease. Bothered by what happened yesterday, she can’t sit still inside the tower. She would watch Rapunzel wake up, brush her teeth, comb her hair, and do her chores late.

And like what they were used to do, she called Rapunzel to sing for her.

It has been like these since. Rapunzel would pull over a big chair for her mother and a stool for her own. She would sing the ‘lullaby’ Gothel taught her when she was young. And as Mother Gothel brushes her hair, it would light up very bright and make her young again.

                Flower, gleam and glow.

                Let your power shine,

                Make the clock reverse,

Bring back what once was mine...

                Heal what has been hurt,

                Change the Fate’s design,

                Save what has been lost,

Bring back what once was mine...

                What once was mine.

A moment passed, and the wrinkles around Mother Gothel’s face disappeared magically. The strips of gray hair growing with her black, healthy ones turned black and vibrant again. Even the sinews protruding from her skin vanishes completely.

Rapunzel stops and she was suddenly staring at her mural on the wall with the lanterns. Just last night, she watched them fly. Yes, it wasn’t a dream; the sun-shaped snowflake some boy gave her was still on her dresser.

She’s sure Jack Frost was real.

But contrast to her happiness, Mother Gothel was slowly filling up with fear and worries. So far, Rapunzel had done nothing stranger than painting new murals over her old ones. Gothel still had her sanity. But then, she was still puzzled by what she was told the last time she went out.

And now she’s afraid to get down from the tower again.

As days passed, Mother Gothel seemed to be obnoxious. First thing, Rapunzel was turning really odd—one night Mother Gothel caught her talking to someone by the window. It gave her a bit of fear—less than because there might be someone attempting to climb the tower, and more than because of what she was warned about.

She was told to chain her daughter.

The next day, Rapunzel had been playing with a frog—or was it a frog?—and she seemed to be happy as she was also talking to it. Mother Gothel would have talked to her, but she just kept on observing her for days.
