Slyfox x Immortal Fanfiction (Yaoi) Ch. 8

Omg eep! This one i'm really excited to write this one! A little tomanex x scmowns >.< Ahh! Ok, Now I need to write, ok, Eeeeepp!!!!

(Kevin's' point of view)

I ring the doorbell at wait, it's late noon so they should be up, but whats to stop them from being out? I don't get an answer, so I ring it again, and knock a few times. This is their apartment right? The door opens, Sly.

"Hey! What are you doing here!?" He asks, giving me a hug.

"Sorry I didn't call, wanted to surprise you guys," I lie. I just needed to get out of that town, if I stayed I would have definitely ran into him.

"No problem, come in," He says, inviting me in. I nod and walk in taking my shoes off at the door. I see Aleks asleep on the couch.

"Taking a nap, I kept him up all night, if you know what I mean," Sly giggles, winking. I roll my eyes, glad they're still a happy couple. I sit down on the couch next to Aleks, careful not to wake him.

"Uhm, can I ask you something?" I start, "I don't mean to impose but, I really need a place to stay." 

"Sure, we've got an extra bedroom you can stay in," He says, pointing down the hallway. "What happened?"

"It's complicated," I say, shaking my head, I don't mention how it's my own fault. He nods, showing he understands, when he gets a phone call.

"Hello? Oh hey Steven, what's up?" Sly answers. Steven?! Oh shit!

"Don't tell him I'm here," I whisper. He gives me a questioning look but nods.

"Yeah, I think that would be fine, mmk, see you then," Sly says, hanging up.

"What did he say," I ask.

"Steven's staying over too, so you're going to have to share a room," Sly says, "What happened?" 

"Please, I don't want to talk about it," I ask. So he decided to come here too, except he had common courtesy to call. 

"Fine," He sighs, "but if you want to talk about it I'm all ears."

"Thanks," I mumble. The time passes, slowly, agonizing me with my own thoughts. Until finally someone knocks on the door. I run to the kitchen to hide, while Sly answers the door. How the heck is Aleks still sleeping? Holy crap, I didn't think he would be a heavy sleeper. I hear Sly direct Steven to his room. I feel my heart pumping, adrenalin coursing through my veins. I hear the door close, Steven inside, Sly sitting next to Aleks on the couch. Now is my time. I walk in the room, shutting the door behind me.

"What's up Sly-" He stops when he sees me, "... Kevin."

"Uhm, hey," I say.

"What are you doing here?" he asks, fidgeting with the end of his shirt. 

"I'm staying here too," I say.

"Oh, well, then I should probably leave," He says, trying to rush past me. I grab his hand, stopping him. Making him sit on the bed next to me.

"Steven, please, let me at least explain," I say, gripping his hand tight. 

"What's there to explain?" he asks, trying to get free of my grip. His hands are sweating. 

"I like you Steven, a lot, I didn't mean to hurt you," I say, he stops struggling. "I just, I didn't know how else to tell you. I'm sorry," I say, letting go of his hand. He stands there, looking at the floor.

"... About the kiss, I'm not sure how I feel about it," He starts, "It's just, I didn't hate it." My mind races, is he serious?

"Then, why did you run away?" I ask, I can't help but start getting my hopes up.

"It wasn't because I was mad at you, I wanted to think about what my answer would be," He says, fiddling with the end of his shirt again. It's hard to see because he's looking down but, I think, is he blushing?

"And, what is it?" I ask, surprised by how confident my voice is. He gulps, and then looks up, his face bright red. So he was blushing... He leans into me, hugging me, burying his face in my chest. He mumbles something, but I can't make out what he's saying.

"What?" I ask, hugging him back gently. He pulls away from my shirt, still holding onto me.

"I said, I like you too," He mumbles, shoving his face back into my chest. I chuckle, petting his head. I hear soft snores, and look down to see he's sleeping. Must have been a long drive. I chuckle and lay him on the bed, still not letting go of him. I don't care if he gets mad at me in the morning, just for a little while, I want to hold him.
