Eddies' point of view

Comic con was coming up, faster than I ever wanted it to. Aleks would be going with James and Dan, and no me. I knew this, I agreed to it, yet, I still hated it. Not only will I be without Aleks for an entire week, but the events of Jake still ominously hung over head. I'm a terrible person, I should trust him. After he almost got raped by him, I know he won't be going back to him. But still... It's a big city, with criminals, and he could easily get lost... he never was good at reading maps.

Oh god, I sound more like a mother than a lover right now. James and Dan promised me they would take care of him, but what if something really bad happens? Like, a bomb?! Maybe some extremist mothers don't like the amount of gore put into comic books and take action!? Wait, that... that wouldn't happen. But still I worry...

Aleks was in his car, waving to me before it sped away. I put on a fake smile and waved back, oh god, what if they get into a car accident? No, that won't happen either, Aleks is a good driver. While the rest of the guys went inside the house, I stayed out, watching the car until it was out of sight. Well, James didn't have any accident I could see.

I sigh and go back inside, waiting for Aleks to text me. He's driving, so I have to wait for him to text me. This really sucks. I sit on the couch, watching Seamus play mario kart. 

"You can play too," Seamus grins, handing me a controller. I'm hesitant to take it, but I do anyway. We play for a bit, it was actually helping me take my mind off things. Before I knew it, it was turning dark.

"I'm going to go back home, see ya' guys," Jordan says, grabbing his coat.

"Hey can you give me a ride home on your way?I don't have a car," I explain, he nods. The car was silent, now that I wasn't being distracted, I kept thinking 'why hasn't he texted me yet?' He drops me off and I mutter a thank you before going to my door. I feel my phone vibrate as I walk through.

"Hey, we got here, the hotel room sucks though, getting a new one," He texts, thank god, he made it safely.

"Lol, is it not fancy enough for your tastes?" 

"It smells like shit and literally has one bed,"

"Would it be more comfortable if I was there? ;)"

"Probably not, there's barely enough standing room for three of us, and I don't think the guys would like to hear it,"

"Hear what?" 

"Paa-lease, you wouldn't be able to keep your hands off me, :p"

"Don't act like you don't enjoy it CX"

"I do, I don't think the guys would though, I'll text you later, really tired,"

I giggle and he stops texting. I'll have to call him in the morning, I really want to hear his voice. But, at least for tonight, he's safe. I was able to fall peacefully asleep. 

-Next morning-

I mindlessly drift awake, startled by the absence of a warm body around me. That's right... comic con. I sigh and stumble out of bed, checking my phone. No missed messages. Well damn. I traipse over to my computer and check skype and youtube, no one else was on, but there was a new video from the creature hub. It was called 'Aleks Climbs Down the 2nd Story of the Hotel for a Drink (SDCC 2013)'. Omg, Aleks, really? I watch to the end, making sure he doesn't fall. After it's over I immediately call Dan.
