James' point of view
Seamus was yawing, so I followed him back. I wasn't really tired, but it's a nice excuse to get him alone. He was practically falling asleep on my the ride here. I tangled my hands in his soft, blonde hair, hating the moment we had to get out of the car. He groggily walked inside, heading straight for bed. I follow, not missing a beat. He curls up into my arms, falling asleep almost instantly. I chuckle, sweeping some curls from his face. I feel drowsiness slowly creep on me, welcoming me to its world.
I slowly drift to consciousness, feeling a weight on my stomach. As I open my eyes, his lips came crashing down on mine. I kiss back almost immediately. Well that's a way to wake up.
"Well good morning to you," I chuckle.
"The guys want us to help them record some stuff for the hub," He grins, rolling off me. I grab his arm, pulling him in for another kiss before we head downstairs.
"Glad you could get him up," Dan says, setting up the Kinect.
"Easy," He chuckles, we sit on the couch, me wrapping my arm around him.
"Lets do this," Dan says, starting a game of wipe out. Aleks and Sly are nowhere to be seen.
"What about Eddie and Aleks?" I ask, sure, wake us up and not them.
"Just thought they would be celebrating all night," Kootra says, putting emphasis on celebrating. Seamus tries pulling me up for the game, but I stand my ground.
"What if I promise to do something special for your birthday?" He whispers in my ear, sending chills down my spine. Damn, he's persuasive. I grin and stand up, getting into the game. We record 2 hours worth of footage, all of the editing is naturally pushed to Dan.
"I'm going to go see Monica," Jordan says, grabbing his jacket. It's pretty warm outside, but it wasn't this morning.
"Wow, scum-bag Koots, wakes me up and then doesn't entertain me," I joke, might as well give him shit.
"I think you've got enough entertainment here," Kootra chuckles, walking out the door. I give a throaty laugh and wrap my arm around Seamus. He blushes but grins, leaning into me.
"I'm still in the room!" Dan says, not looking away from his screen.
"Aww, does Dan need some cuddling?" I ask in a baby voice.
"Perfectly fine thank you," He chuckles. I look outside, maybe it would be a good day to go outside.
"Hey, Seamus want to do something?" I ask, he follows my gaze out the window.
"Like what?" He asks. I think it out for a minute, something romantic but won't make people stare...
"Beach?" I ask. He shrugs, but I can tell he's excited. "I'm going to call Sly and Aleks, wanna' come Dan?" I ask, dialing the number.
"Nah, I need to edit this bad boy," He says. I nod as Aleks picks up his phone.
"Hello?" Aleks groggily murmurs. Looks like someone just got up. Lucky bitch.
"Want to come to the beach with me and Seamus?" I ask.
"Sure! Let me ask Eddie," He immediately perks up, I hear talking in the background.
"Alright, so what time?" Aleks asks.
"We're going right now," I say.
"Mmk, I'll meet you there," He says hanging up. I go to my room, searching for my swimming trunks. Seamus comes out of his room with his on.
"Lookin' good," I cheer, looking him over. He blushes, looking away. I go slip off my shirt, hoping into my swimming trunks.
"Ready?" I ask, grabbing my keys.
He grabs a towel and smiles, "Yehp." I drive to the beach, there's only one that's really close. We see Aleks and Sly in the parking lot, unloading their crap.
"Did you pack your whole apartment?" I joke, coming over to them.
"It's his fault," Aleks sighs, taking a cooler. Sly giggles.
"I like to lounge in luxury," He giggles, Ales rolls his eyes. I hold up a green turtle floaty.
"Luxury is one things, but this?" I ask, he just giggles.
"Why the hell do you even have that?" Seamus asks, shaking his head. Eddie just giggles more, looking over at Aleks who is blushing like mad.
"Actually that's mine," Aleks says, taking it from me. I clutch my sides, laughing.
"Shut up! I didn't have any other floating device" He says, hiding his face.
"Why do you need a floating thing?" Seamus asks, still laughing.
"Just in case I don't know how to swim," Aleks shrugs.
"Just in case?" I ask.
"I've never swam before," He says nonchalantly.
"I get to teach him how to swim," Sly giggles, wrapping his arm around Aleks. I chuckle, setting up on a nice spot on the beach. Sly runs right in, diving in face first. I follow, dragging Seamus with me. Aleks is still at shore, contemplating whether he should jump in. Eddie swims back, swimming with him in more shallow water. Seamus and I stay in deeper waters, splashing water eachother, swimming under water and tripping each other. I find a piece of seaweed and drape it on my nose, pretending to be the seaweed monster. Seamus laughed and played along, shouting for help.
"Raahhggg!" I groaned, chasing him. He ran away, splashing me some more. Damn, he's faster than me.
"Ninja technique, seaweed shuriken!" I laugh, throwing it at him. He lets out a yelp and splashes it away. "It's just seaweed," I laugh, picking it up and showing him. He makes a 'yuck' face and splashes it some more.
"Aww, someone doesn't like seaweed?" I ask, shoving it in his face. He lets out a yelp, hastily backing away. He trips on a fairly large rock, submerging himself in water. I toss the seaweed away, picking him up.
"Not afraid, it's just gross," He says, still eyeing it from here. I laugh, pulling him in for a kiss. He kisses back immediately, pressing his body against mine.
"It's getting dark, we should get back," I say, pulling away from him. He nods and starts swimming towards the shore, me following after. As I reach it, I notice Aleks sitting on Slys' lap, in a full out make out session. Good thing almost nobody came here, at least not today.
"Those are some kind of swimming lessons!" I hoot, making Aleks jump off Sly. Seamus chuckles, finally getting to the shore. Aleks and Sly stayed in the shallow end the whole time, why even bother bringing any floating device? Seamus and I help pack up their stuff into Aleks' car.
"Have fun continueing your swimming lessons," I chuckle, winking at them. Aleks blushes while Sly giggles, winking back. I drive back, making random chatter with Seamus.
"We're home," I sing, terribly I might add.
"Sweet..." Seamus says, stopping to sneeze.
"Are you sick? We were out there for a while," I say, feeling his forehead, "You're burning up!" His eyes dull as he leans into me, out cold. I unbuckle his seat belt, carrying him in my arms to my bed. For a while he bunked in my room, we enjoyed each other's company and neither of us really wanted to be without the other. I lay him on it, covering him in the blanket. I sneeze. Fuck. We shouldn't have stayed out that late. Being careful not to wake him, I crawl under the covers with him. I feel my nose start running, fuck. Fuck you colds, fuck you.
