14: The games (pt 1)

Arriving at a huge and tall building, you awed at the sight of its luxurious designs. People were standing around in the lobby and your eyes widens at the golden design it had. Aomine's expression didn't change as his eyes stared towards whatever he saw.

"Daiki, look! This is so beautiful!" you said as you pointed at one of the aquariums that were plastered onto the walls.

The golden design around the rectangular shape tank was filled with different types of colorful fish. You quickly slid your feet towards an antique that was displayed near to the staircase and you took a quick shot of its carvings with your phone.

"This place is so beautiful! Only some rich people or some kinds of nobles are able to afford this kind of funds," you twinkled as you glance through the Hotel's pamphlet.

Seeing you being like an excited little kid, Aomine grabbed your wrist and pulled you towards the counter while you stumble from his grasp.

"We're here for the games," he handed the voucher to one of the receptionists.

"Oh, you're one of our customers that won our voucher? Please this way," the female receptionist gestured her hand to her side.

You and Aomine followed her as she leads both of you towards a double carved door. Turning to your right and left and out to a garden, you went into another door, leading you into another building. There are a lot of other corridors and you didn't actually pay attention towards the path you're taking. Seeing another designed door, your eyes widen and your mouth gaped open. The door leads to the backyard of the hotel and was surprisingly wide and spacious. Tables and chairs were aligned, decorated with variety of flowers and there are about 10 couples who've won the voucher like you did.

"Please take this key and settle your bags. We will start within 15 minutes. We will give you instructions once you're ready. So please stay alert and wait for the announcement through the speaker in your room," the woman smiled as you took the key card from her hand.

The key card had a number 07 on it and you begin to search for the door number. Walking along the corridor, you couldn't help but smile at the photos and designs that was highlighting the place.

"Hey Daiki! Imagine if we win this, we get to spend our days like one of the noble families!" you glimmered and are lost in your own thoughts.

Aomine glanced at you and sighed, "Hey, we're here for the money. So quit daydreaming for a while."

"Really? Or is it those pretty girls that you saw earlier when we were passing the huge windows by the pool...?" you smiled sheepishly.

Aomine scowled. Before he could say anything, you stopped in front one of the doors and read the number on it and on the key card.

"We're here!" you said as you swipe the card onto its sensor.

The light on the door blinked from red to green, assuming that the door is unlocked. Entering it, there are golden designs with a little bit of silvery carvings on the wall. Glancing towards the bedroom, you saw a bed, well, a king size bed with two comfortable looking chair by the windows. You slid the curtain and saw a beautiful looking garden just outside of it and you awed. Lost in one of your 'nobility' fantasies again, you've always wanted to be one of the rich family and lived yourself like a princess.

"Oi," Aomine shattered your imagination. "We'll start in 10, so drag your head back into reality and you can start dreaming again once this is over."

You let out a low growl and pouted, "Okaaay~"

Sitting on the bed comfortably, you were drinking (juice or water or anything) while Aomine sat on the couch, tying his shoes. A few moments later, the speaker plays out a melody and you heard a man's voice greeting.
