20: Troubled Thoughts

The time you spent at the Five Grand Star Hotel ended earlier then you thought. You're now back to your apartment and the last night you spent with Aomine was a little bit awkward. His kiss was still flashing around your head whenever you tried to go to sleep.

The next day, you went to school as usual. You slide the door to your classroom open and heard multiple chattering and giggling. Momoi was already there with her books settled on her desk.

"Good morning (F/n)-chan!" She smiled, feeling like she's still in heaven.

"Good morning," you said back. You turned to face the desk right next to you and the tanned skin, navy blue haired male was nowhere to be seen. He must've skip class again so you decided to ignore it.

Class started as usual and ended in a...well...not a good way.

Japanese

"(L/n)! Read the first paragraph...!" your female teacher frowned, looking as if she was about to eat you. You flinched in your seat and glanced at Momoi. She was pointing on her book, telling you the page number. God, you weren't actually paying attention to your teacher as you kept glancing towards Aomine's desk.

Math

"(L/n)!" The teacher yelled. "Answer these questions!" He slammed his hand onto the board in front almost making you yelp. You walked up to the board but ended up giving him the wrong equations.

English

"(L/n)... (L/n)..."

You were scribbling your notebook. Momoi would sometimes peek at you, signaling that the teacher is calling out your name. As you tilt your chin up, the teacher was holding a book while looking at you. "Do you mind telling me what class we're doing right now?"

"Ah!" you quickly smiled nervously. "It's math- huh?" You glanced at the board. Your face heated up and quickly hides under your book, noticing that it was English lessons. Some alphabetical letters would even fly over your head and the other students laughed.

Social Studies

"(L/n)!"

Everyone would glance at you while you shrunk.

Science

"(L/n) (F/n)!" You shuddered under the teacher's annoyed glare.

You hate to admit it but your name was quite 'popular' today as your teachers kept complaining, bombarding you with advices. The only response you'd give was a repetitive bow and apologies. It was lunch time and you leaned your head on your desk, sighing in defeat. Momoi smiled worryingly towards your fatigue figure.

"Are you alright? You seemed to be out of yourself today," she asked.

"I'm f-fine..." you said as you closed your eyes. "It's just something that's bothering me..."

"What is it? Did someone confessed to you?!" She asked in shock.

Your face instantly heated up, making your body jolting out of your desk and covering her mouth with your hands.

"Shh," You hushed. "Not too loud!" If you weren't in class, your voice would've definitely echoed throughout the school ground by now.

You pushed back into your seat and Momoi stared at you blankly. "Am I right?"

"W-well..." You thought back whether you should tell Momoi about what happened between you and Aomine or not.

An image of Aomine's kiss and words of his confession asking you for a chance lingers around your head. You blushed and quickly faced away from Momoi.
