The lobby was full of couples and families who are currently having their stay at the hotel. Some of them were about to go to the hotel's restaurant, having their breakfast. Your ears were filled with happy laughter and distant chattering. Panting heavily, you ran up until you reach the end of the hallway and stopped just in front of a vending machine. Your knuckles found its way to the front of your lips and you blushed at the thought of Aomine's kiss.

What happened? Aomine Daiki, the man you've fallen for during Teiko had kissed you out of nowhere and he was asking for a chance?

Fortunately, there weren't many people around the area so it gave you the time to calm yourself. Unconsciously leaning your forehead against the vending machine, you muttered to yourself.

"Wha..What just happened? I can't believe he did that... And I just..." you paused and blushed, remembering his lips on top of yours. "...I just pushed him away..."

Closing your eyes, you took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Just as you were about to turn around, you heard a female voice calling you from behind.

"Excuse me? You're (L/n) (F/n) right?"

You turned to see a blond girl standing with a gentle smile. It was Sarina, the woman who had won the first place. She was wearing a simple blue jeans and a sleeveless shirt with a bag hung over her shoulder. Studying her feature, you return back a smile towards her.

"Yes, that's me," You replied.

You were sitting at the lobby with Sarina in front of you. She closed her eyes before she speaks.

"(L/n)... " she muttered. Her worried expression carved on her face. "I wanted to meet you because I have a few things to tell you."

"Please, just call me (F/n)," you smiled back.

"U-uh, okay. (F/n)," she looks at you. "About what happened yesterday, I want to apologize."

You sat there without saying anything back. All you wanted to do is just hear what she wanted to say.

"I know what Ryu had done was unforgivable. It was my fault. I know what he was about to do but yet, I had no choice but to follow what he said," her voice descended into a lower tone. "I...I was scared and I don't want to hurt you." The corner of her eyes stung with tears.

"Sarina-san," you called. She had introduced herself to you earlier when she stumbled upon you. "What are you trying to say?"

"Ryu asked me to leave him and distract your bo-" she stopped and averted her eyes away from yours. "..your boyfriend from helping you."

"E-eh? B-boyfriend?" You blushed. "N-no, he's not my b-boyfriend," you wave your hands in front, slightly stuttering.

"Huh? Not your boyfriend? Then, who is he?" she blinked in confusions.

"He's..." you looked down to your hands that rested on your laps, "He's my childhood friend."

"But I thought he was your boyfriend. I thought you said that you lo-"
