"luke, you're crazy!" I exclaim at his very detailed plan.

"what's wrong with a little tongue?" he cluelessly asked.

"it's not just that. it's pretending you're my boyfriend and acting very couplely around him." i explained.

"this is a mainstream plotted revenge nina. plus, i know how boys work. trust me i'm one of them."

"thanks for the clarification, i thought you were a penguin." i joked sarcastically.

"but seriously what's wrong with my plan?"

"never mind. let's just get this over with." i agreed.

"great, now we just have to find out when he's out so our plan can actually make sense."

"you didn't think that through did ya?" i chuckled. he paused for a moment before a small lightbulb lit up and created a light spark in his eyes.

"actually, a buddy of mine is having a party tonight." luke smiled.

"okay and?"

"well it turns out him and shawn are cousins. so shawn might come." he says.

"or not." i disagreed.

"or he might."

"or not." i shoot again.

"c' mon what's holding us back?" luke questions.

"maybe, oh i don't know, shawn actually won't come. he's sick, him and his cousin don't get along, i really don't want to do this."

"even if he doesn't come, this party is going to be sick." he says excitedly.

luke and i have been at this party for an hour already and shawn hasn't arrived. i'm starting to lose hope in luke's plan. sure i didn't want to do it, but now, i really don't care. there's really nothing to worry about at this point. i'm already wearing skimpy clothing luke found, smelling the aroma of weed from the upstairs guest rooms, music that is too loud for in the next minutes noise complaints are for sure to occur, and am among drunk imbeciles vomiting from left to right, so shawn not noticing me is the least of my problems.

luke finally comes, sober. "where have you been?" i asked.

"don't worry about, is shawn here yet?"

just as i was going to give my assumption, sure enough shawn's name was announced by the dj. "aye, it's shawn everyone!" woots and yeahs were being thrown and shawn came waving in.

"alright, when he comes over, i'll introduce you as my girlfriend, got it?"

"yeah." i turn my head and see shawn walking over to luke, not noticing me yet.

"luke, how ya been man?" shawn smiled giving luke a hug mostly known as the ' bro hug '.

"great, do you know my girlfriend, nina?" luke asked gesturing his arm toward me. shawn stands there in utter shock.

"yeah, i-i know n-nina." he barely spoke out.

"we'll I'm going to let you guys catch up. do you want anything babe?" luke questions smirking, shawn not noticing.

"water, thanks." i answered back. he shakes his head and disappears into the sea of drunk teenagers. leaving shawn and i alone.
