"Thanks again for letting me stay at your house last night." I thanked Kristen.

"No problem, if you need a place you know where to come." Kristen gives me a reassuring smile and a quick hug. I get out the car and watch her leave the house. Once she left I headed inside to get settled back in.

I wonder if anyone notice that I was gone. Even though I wasn't gone for long. I wonder if he missed me.I walk into the quite house and see no one around. I peep into the kitchen and see Rose working. "Hey Rose."

She perks up and quickly turns around with wide eyes. "You scared me Ariana,"she puts her hand on her heart. I giggle a little bit. She then quickly comes around and hugs me. "Where have you been?"

"I was over by my friends house for the night."

She huffs and crosses her arms. " you didn't think to tell anyone where you were going." I shrug my shoulders. " I was kinda in a hurry."

Rose stood and continued to stare at me. She stood until I would spill the beans, as she would say. I wasn't going to fall for that trick.

"Really, I just really needed girl time." I bite the inside of my lip and watch to see if my white lie would pass.

She looks at me longer then nods and walks back to cooking the food. I sigh in relief as I have passed Roses good discernment. I travel out the kitchen and into the hall.

Before I can walk up the stairs I hear the constant hitting of a bag. I quickly follow the sound, getting close with every step. I walk up to the gym door and peek through the clear door.

My eyes glaze over Rowland body. Each blow that he brings to the bag becomes harder and faster. I look over his face, hard and scrunched up. What was he thinking about. Why was he so...

A big boom comes from the punching bag stopping my thoughts. The bag was on the ground and was busted open. A small whistle came from my mouth. "Wow, your strong"

Rowland looks up from the bag and at me. His eyes gleamed with anger. Before I knew it he was inches away from my face. "Where were you," he asked, breathing hard on my face like some mad bull.

"I went to a friends house, why?" I asked. Rowland says nothing, but stares in my face. The awkward silence starts turning into a tense atmosphere. My wondering eyes goes down his body and back up to his lips. Him being this close to me was a temptation all on its own. Controlling myself was useless, my face inched closer to him. Our lips briefly touch and he backs away. "No," he crosses his arms, "Quell needed you yesterday and wants you upstairs with her."

Who else needed me? I thought. He walks out of the gym leaving me hanging. I abandon the feeling and go upstairs to quell.

She sat in the middle of the floor playing with the doll house. Her Barbie dolls were spread across the floor. I grab one of the dolls and enter the realm of imagination and played with her. We play with the dolls until the she was tired of seeing ken kiss Barbie so much. She was hungry and so was I.

We go down stairs and eat dinner together. After a delicious dinner and a nice dessert of cinnamon rolls, quell was ready to play again. I quickly shut that down when she started complaining about being hot and instead we sat in her bed reading stories to cool her down.

We were reading Snow White when she points to the dwarfs. "Why are they sad?" She asked.
"Because the princess is in a deep sleep." I answered and turn the page to read on, but was interrupted again.

"Why were you sad auntie?" Quell looks up at my face with her small doe eyes. I was speechless. This little girl was very clever and could read anyone. Before I could answer a tear fell my face. My feelings had gotten in my way and I was in tears.
