Chapter 18

4 days later

We were all recoverd from our injury's and were now sitting in the stadium waiting for the big football game to start. Ben was as usual on the bench and Devan played front line, Tyler was sitting on my left and Darius on my right. Tyler had only come to support Devan, at least he had said so. But I still had a hard time rapping my mind around the fact that Tyler saved Ben but then Ben saved Tyler. It made me realise I never really thought about them becoming friends, or even giving a damn about each other.

"Hey Tyler?" I said out of curiousity. "Yea?" "What do you think of Ben?" His eyes went from the field straight to me. "You know how I feel about Ben!" He said. "You say you hate him but...." "I do hate him!" "You saved his life!" "Because you wouldn't have forgiven me if I hadn't!" "Have you even Thanked him for saving yours?" "No...I haven't." "You should do that." "Why would i?" "Because I know you don't only just hate him, and you kinda owe him!" "What if I do just hate him! And I owe him nothing I saved him first!" He said raising his eyebrow. "I know you don't just hate him!" I said back. "You don't!" "I do Tyler!" "And how do you know then?" "I've known you for to long!" "Look Alex, I do not care about the guy, I don't like the guy! If it came down to me he'd be dead! Do you understand that!" "No!" "Why not!" "I know you are lying Tyler!" "Whatever this is pointless!" "No it's not!" "Alex I don't want to talk about this right now!" "Why not?!" "Because!" "That's not an answer!" "I don't care!" "Tyler just tell me the truth, why won't you just admit you don't hate him with every single bone in your body!" "Alex i've already explained to you....." "Tyler look at me!" I hissed as I grabbed his arm. "What!" "I can hear your heartbeat, it's not pure when you say you completely and uterly hate him. In fact it's far from........" "Okay fine!" He spat. "I've grown to not completely hate the kid now back of!"

After the game Tyler went straight home so I decided to hang out with Ben and Devan who were sitting on the side of the field. "You were amazing man!" I said as I sat down next to Devan. "Thanks, it felt good to be back on the field!" "Yea I completely get that!" "How did I do Alex?" Ben said laughing. "Amazing man! You really perfected that bench technic!" I laughed. "I know right, i've been practising a lot!" "Yea our training really worked didn't it!" Devan laughed as he slapped Ben's shoulder. "Yea it really payed of!"

"Where did Tyler go?" Devan asked as he looked around him. "Home, he was kinda over the whole being a normal man thing." "Sad, I really wanted to talk to him!" "Why?" "Well he'd been there for me you know, and I guess I just really wanted to hear him say he was proud!" "Well trust me he was, he kept chearing you on!" "Yea I heard him." Ben said smiling at Devan. "Really?" "Yea he kept yelling your name when you had the bal." "He really did." I said looking from Ben to Devan. "Well i'll give him a call later!"

"You know what's weird." Ben said as we were all laying on the grass looking at the sky. "What?" "At the beginning of this year me and Devan were two invisible boys and you were one invisible girl...and now." "We are still invisible!" Devan said and allthough I couldn't see his face i knew he was smiling. "Yea but, it's different. I mean you are a wolf!" "Yea I still can't wrap my mind around it." "I know right I mean, I know three wolfs, a witch, two werepanthers and at the Same time we are all Hunted by a stupid alpha!" "You know what." I said not taking my eyes of that stars. "No, tell us." "A part of me wishes I had never dragged you guys in this, but a part of me is extremely glad I did." "I'm glad you did." Ben said. "Really?" "Yea! I wouldn't traid it for the world!" "Me too, no matter how hard it is and may get, i'm glad I met you..and Tyler and Darius and Bella and Ally." I chuckled at Devan who said all the names as if they were too late to board there plane. "I never thought i'd ever say this but i'm happy that you guys are my friends! And that I have a human friend!" Ben chuckled at that.

"DEVAN!" I suddenly heard a women's voice yell. "Uh oh." He sighed as he got up. Me and Ben did the Same only to see a middle aged woman coming our way. "That's his mother." Ben whispered. "Is this what you've been doing those times you came home late!" She yelled as he grabbed his upper arm. "Ouch mum that hurts!" "I don't care i'm done with your sketchy behaviour!" "Mum stop hurting me!" "You my friend are going to explain everything when we get home!" She said completely ignoring him and dragging him with her. "And you Ben are going to do exactly the Same, you're parents have been mortified of you doing drugs!" "I'm not on drugs!" He yelled throwing his hands up in the air. "Well then why were you running around in the Woods at night and coming home the next day covered in cuts and bruises!" "How!....you! What?!" "I know everything Ben!" "Oh if only you did." Devan mumbled trying to get his Mothers hand of of him. "You shut up!" "But....." "I said shut up! You can talk when you are ready to explain!"
