Arises had to leave and take care of something leaving us to sit in the big study room. "I'm going to take a look around." I said as I stood up and Walked towards the big Doors. "Be carefull." Tyler said before I exited the room. "Always." I mumbled right before closing the door. After closing it I looked around deciding to go in the corridor in front of me, all the walls here were navy blue and the Floor was wooden, it looked quite nice. As I Walked through the corridor there were Doors on my left and right and a few paintings a long the way, it did actually indeed look abonded, it was very quiet and cold. It gave of this sad vibe.
At the end of the corridor I turned right walking into a more spaceous corridor, this could very well be the main corridor of the building. And instead of paintings there were pictures everywhere, I stopped at one of them. It was a picture in color, bad quality, but stil... As I looked at it noticed there were a lot of kids, probably between 12 and 18, they all seemed extremely happy, some jumped in the air others smiled from ear to ear. At the back there was a row of adults, they looked a bit like teachers of different subjects, they all looked so different and yet so Alike it was kinda scary. "Weird huh." A deep husky voice behind me said. Out of shock I snapped my head around looking straight into these gorgeous light blue eyes. In front of me was a boy with very light blonde hair, he was tall slim but still muscular. He chuckled lightly at my reaction before opening his mouth. "I'm Quincy." He said as he reached his hand out the shake mine. As he did that his sleeve rolled up a little exposing the black Marks on his skin. I carefully reached out my arm so I could shake his hand. "I'm pretty sure Arises has told you a little about this place." "A little." I mumbled nervously. "This was about twenty years ago, the institute was the main school for shadowhunter's, I miss those times." "It's uh....quite abonded here now." "It is...., can I ask you something." "Sure." I mumbled not taking my eyes of the picture. "You are Alex, right?" "Yea....I am." "That is your mother." He said pointing to a tall slim women in the middle, she looked so besutiful and happy. "She was an amazing lady." He said looking at her. "Why was she here, as a werewolf I mean?" "Arises and your mother grew up together, they were best friends. So when Arises became head of the institute she brought Amelia, your mother, here. She was the first werewolf to ever step foot in this institute, she became teacher of defense, teaching everybody and anybody how to defend themselfs." "I bet she did a good job." "She was amazing, she took care of me when I was just a little kid, when I was five she dissapeard. I never knew why untill a good few years ago, we watched you and your pack kill her Alex." He said swallowing loudly. "I'm sorry, I never knew she...." I started but got cut of. "It was Needed, she had lost every bit of human brain at that point, that's the dangerous part about being supernatural, when you switch your human side of for to long it will dissapear." He said looking me straight in the eye. "Quincy aren't you supposed to be helping Jacob!" A high pitched voice behind me said. "On my way Ferrel." He said before giving me one last smile and walking away. "Sorry about him, he's a bit sentimental sometimes." She said as she came to stand next to me. "How rude of me, hello i'm Ferrel, i'm the maid!" She said taking my hand in her's and shaking it Widly. She was quite small, smaller then me, and she had brown curly locks falling down her shoulders. She was probably the Same age as me maybe a little younger but not much. "Alex." I said back forcing a smile on my face. "O gosh, you are already here I completely forgot to do your rooms!" She gasped. "Pardon me, I have to go of and make them ready before Arises returns!" She said letting go of my hand and taking big steps as she Walked away, it looked kind of funny because she was so Tiny. "She, my dear, is a very hyper person." I turned around at the sound of another voice. "Sandra." The elder lady said, she had short grey hair and was rather chubby but seemed very friendly. "I figured." I said smiling. "Not to be rude but I suggest you go back to your friends, this house is like a maze and once you get lost you will stay lost." She said before going back through the door she had come from.
Turns out Sandra was right because about 30 minutes later I was completely lost, everything looked exactly the Same in this stupid house, I literrely think I have steen this exact Same corridor about 10 times already. And I swear to god something is haunting this place 'cause all I do is hear noises. "Lost!" A deep voice said out of nowhere. I let out a short scream before quickly turning around. "I take that as a yes." The tall boy said, he had a bit more muscles then Quincy but his hair was a dark brown color even though his eyes were green. "Jacob." He said chuckling. "Alex." I mumbled back emberrased. "Come on, i'll show you the way back." He said as he came walking next to me.
"So death threatening, right?" He asked as we turned the 50 corner. "Yea..." "I couldn't imagine why." He said in a sarcastic tone. "What do you mean by that!" I snapped. "You didn't just kill your phsyico mother, you also killed the upper alpha!" "And how exactly is that such a bad thing!" "Maybe because now everybody wants to take her place but....., they can't because you get it because your family, sadly you don't have any other werewolf family so when you get killed the spot is open for the person who killed you, when that is a downworlder all Wolfs will become deadly downworlders and trust me we don't want that." He said in a voice that sounded like it wasn't a really big deal to him. "What!" I spat confused and suprised at the Same time. "Did no one tell you?" "NO!"
