Chapter 41

"Alex!" Jacob said as he opened the door of the dining room. I quickly turned around only to see a sweaty Jacob impatiently waiting. "Can I grab you for a second." "Sure." I mumbled getting up and walking towards the door. Before I could walk through it thought someone grabbed my shorts. I turned around seeing Daisy look at me with a worried expression. I nodded at her to show it was okay and turned back to Jacob.

With big wide steps he had Walked to his room and let me pushing me down on the bed. Without saying anything he started pacing around the room running his hand through his dark hair. He kept doing that for about ten minutes before finally stopping and turning to me. He still didn't open his mouth though, he just stood there looking at me. Or at least, that's what I thought. His room was dark and cold, all of his curtains were still closed even though it was light outside and his lamp only gave of a dim light slightly lighting the place up. Because he had stopped moving I stood up and Walked over to his window but was quickly stopped when Jacob grabbed my arm. I turned around looking directly in his eyes. "If you won't start speaking i'm out!" I snapped at him. "Fine." He mumbled under his Breath before pushing me back on the bed. "I don't know what you all know okay! I don't!" "But..?" I asked when he stopped. "I'm going to tell you everything anyway!" After that it was quiet for a while again, almost as if Jacob was doubting his decision. "He's coming okay! You know that right." He said opening his mouth again to wich I just nodded. "I've seen a lot of things Alex, a lot! But when I opened my curtains this morningi saw something I had never seen before!" "Is that why Arises isn't here?" "No, Arises doesn't know. She's out with that Bella pack for some reason." "What did you see then?" He sighed and looked at me with a questioning eye. "Do you want to see it yourself?" I just raised my shoulders not really thinking about what it could be. Jacob slowly Walked over to his curtain and layed his hand on it before slowly sliding it aside. I quickly darted back before screaming the lunges out of my body. As I did that I tripped over a little table dropping to the ground and making a lot of noise on my way there. "WHAT IS THAT!" I yelled in panick right before Quincy burst into the room. He too gasped at the sight of Jacob's window. "WHAT THE HELL JACOB!" He yelled before turning to me and helping me of the ground. "WHAT IS THAT?!" I yelled again when I was back on two feet. "It's the head of a demon." Jacob mumbled as he kept looking at the black foggy head that was pinned to his window. "W-what does that mean?" I stuttered scared to look at the head. "It means someone VERY Strong is helping us." "It takes a lot to kill a demon." Quincy added. At that I let myself drop back in Quincy's arms who slowly let me down and sit back on the ground. "I can't do this." I mumbled but both of them had no choice to answer because Tyler, Daisy, Ben and Devan stormend in the room all looking at the head with open mouth.

"It has begun."

Ben said turning to me. "Alex, it started!" He said with a serious tone in his voice. Daisy slowly Walked into the room and over to a spot where nobody was before sighing deeply and opening her mouth. "I'm ready." She said before Swiftly turning herself into a black stallion. "So am I!" Devan said walking over to as he turned into a wolf. "Same counts for me." Tyler said as he did that Same. "Always been ready!" Ben said as he Pulled out a big a rather big dolk and teaser." "We are too." Quincy said turning to me. "So are we." Bella's trusted voice said as she appeared in the door openening with her whole pack behind her all turned into there panther selfes." "We all are." Arises said as she Walked over to me. "Alex, it won't be long before we can finally end this all."

A loud bang on the door took us all by suprise. I quickly stood up running towards the door. "Alex wait!" Jacob's stern voice yelled but I kept walking. I smelled something familiar, and if I was right this thing on the other side of the door could really help us. "Alex don't!" Tyler said catching up with me. "I remember this scent!" I yelled trying to shake them of. "ALEX!" Arises yelled making me stop. "Demon's can do that!" "Do what?" I quietly mumbled. "They can imitate scent's and voices." She said as he catched up with me too. "Well I want to see who it is anyway." I said as I started walking again. When we reached the door I looked through the little hole and sighed in relief.

"What are you doing here?" I asked the young centaur as I opened the door. "Time is ticking Alex, it's only a matter of days before he'll be here!" It said out of Breath. "Wait hold up, who is he?" Ben asked pushing himself between me and Arises. "My name is Titon." The boy spoke. "Why have you come.., Titon?" Arises asked. "It's big, his army is big. He's determined to kill her!" Titon said turning back to me. His expression looked rather worried but also extremely scared. "One quick question, have you seen anybody, anything, wandering around lately?" Jacob asked from behind me. "O don't know i'm sorry, I just came to warn miss Alex." He said turning back to me once more. "Thank you for that Titon, you should go now, before anybody see's you!" "I will thank you!" He said before turning around and cantering away back to the Woods.

"Why did he come?" Arises asked pulling me aside. "How am I supposed to know?!" "You've met him before!" "He barely said anything at all that day!" "He isn't supposed to Be out, he is visible to mundane's!" "I know that! I can't exactly stop him though can I!" "Just, keep yourself quiet!" "Why, so nobody knows I exist?!" "Yes, maybe Slanther will stay away then!" "Oh so that's what it's about!" "Yes Alex, that is what's it's about!" "You know what! I'll just drop dead!" "That's not wat I mean!" "If he doesn't have any prove of me being dead he won't back away!" "And how does miss know it all know that!" "Common sense! The guy isn't stupid!" "So i AM stupid?!" "YES IF YOU THINK HE'LL LEAVE US ALONE YOU ARE IN FACT VERY STUPID!" I yelled before storming off. "I TRUELY WISH I WAS NEVER BORN!" I yelled once more before storming of in my room.
