My Mate

Deans POV

I woke up this morning dreading to go to school. I finally for out from under my warm covers and took a steaming hot shower. I got out and put on a pair of basketball shorts and a white t-shirt. I put in my black and red Osiris shoes and made my way downstairs.

I made my way into the kitchen and saw my mom leaning over the stove cooking something that smelled delicious.

"Hey honey," my mom said "I made you some bacon and eggs for breakfast."

"Thanks mom" I responded with a smile. I sat down to eat when I hears Nash, Brock, and Dallas walk into the kitchen.

"Hey bro, whats up?" asked my younger brother Brock.

"Not much just eating food, you?"

"Just about to go to school, want a ride?"

"Nah, I'm gonna take my car today" I responded.

"Suit yourself" he said, walking out of the room with Nash and Dallas right behind him.

I finished my breakfast, grabbed my bag, kissed my mom on the cheek and told her I loved her, and went to my car.

I drove 20 minutes and pulled into the parking lot. I got out of my car and the most amazing scent hit me like a ton of bricks.

I caught up to Brock, Dallas, and Nash, and asked them "do you guys smell that?"

"Yeah, your b.o., gross" Brock said, high fiving Nash.

"No, its like vanilla with cinnamon." I said sniffing the air, are you guys sure you don't smell it?"

"We're sure," they said at the same time.

I decided to leave it alone and went to history class, worst class in the world.

I could smell the scent through the hallway and it was driving me insane. I hope my wolf isn't going crazy.

Wait, what?! Wolf? You might be saying to yourself. Well, I'm a werewolf and yes they do exist.

I got to Mr. Stuart's class and took my usual seat in the back of the classroom. The tantalizing smell was very strong it was all around me so I couldn't place the exact location.

"Okay class, today we will be discussing the..." Mr. Stuart dud a short drum roll on his podium, "Egyptian Pyramids"

The whole class grumbled to themselves about the topic.

"Oh don't sound so happy about it" he said sarcastically, "Ah, I see we have a new face in the class. Could you please stand up and introduce yourself?"

I looked on the direction Mr. Stuart was looking at and saw the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen in my life.

She was about 5 feet 7 inches, curly brown hair in a side ponytail and the sexiest emerald green eyes in the world. She had long tan legs hat made me drool and I felt myself getting a little excited, if you know what I mean. Heh heh.

"I'm Montana Grey" she said with a stutter. I could see her blush. God she looks so cute when she blushes.

"Well hello Miss Grey, I'm Mr. Stuart" he said "class day hello."

"Hello" we said in unison.

"Tell us one interesting thing about yourself?"

"My favorite color is green" she said quickly before sitting down. Her voice is so angelic.

Mr. Stuart continued with his lesson and I couldn't stop staring at her. I think she knee by the way shoulders were tensed up. She turned her head at me and our eyes locked.

Mate, I heard my wolf say. Wait, mate? How can she be my mate, she's human.

Who cares, she's still our mate, my wolf growled.

I ignored him and I saw her eyes scan my body, checking me out, and I smiled.

I guess she realized what she was and blushed, looking away quickly. My wolf whimpered a bit when she looked away but I saw her trying not to look back over here, which made me laugh inside.

I smiled at her when she back at me and I heard her heartbeat speed up. She blushed and smiled in return. She really needs to stop blushing if I'm gonna survive for the rest of class.

I heard the bell ring but stayed in my seat as everyone else left. Then I heard someone speak in my head. It was Avery, Brocks mate.

She's your mate isn't she? She asked me through the packs mind link.

Yeah she is, I responded.

Ave cleared her throat and my mate looked over at her, "come on now we're gonna be late."

"Okay" my mate said, letting out a deep breath.

We locked eyes until she left the classroom. I hope I get to see her again.
