Those Eyes

Anna's POV

Its been two weeks since I've seen Dean. I know I've only know him for a couple days but I really miss him. Avery has tried to cheer me up but I couldn't get out of my depressed state.

I was walking to the school, bags under my eyes, like a zombie, "here we go again," I said to myself.

I opened my locker and a note floated down to my feet. I picked it up and read what it said

'I'm sorry

-Dean-'

Sorry? He couldn't even face me to say it? I slammed my locket on frustration and turned around, only to be met by the most attractive man in the world; Dean. Wait why am I thinking this? I'm supposed to be mad at him.

"I'm sorry Anna, I didn't mean to ditch you in my room like that. What I had to do was very important to my family."

"Then why didn't you come back to school?" I asked upset.

"Because I didn't know what to say to you," he replied, "I thought you hated me after I left."

"You really thought that I hated you?"

He looked so sad. I could see that us being apart took a toll on him too. His hair was longer than usual and greasy and he had bags under his eyes too.

"Yeah, I did," he said looking at the ground and running a hand through his tangled hair.

"I could never hate you," I smiled and kissed his cheek. The bell rang and we walked to history class, hand in hand.

Dean's POV

God I missed her so much. I missed her smell, her voice, her touch. I missed her so much that I didn't shower. I even grew it out, I actually like it long so its gonna stay.

When she kissed my cheek I felt my heart beat like there was no tomorrow. I know I should've told her why I left sooner, but I didn't know what to say. I thought she wouldn't want to be around be anymore. I guess I was wrong since she keeps glancing at me and giving me cute looks.

"Dean, come back to earth," someone said, waving their hand in front of my face. It was Anna, she looked so hot in her gym outfit.

"How long was I zoned out?"

"About five minutes," she laughed. "Do tell me, what were you thinking about for so long?"

I pulled her close to me by her waist and laid my hand on her soft cheek, "you." She blushed beet red and looked down. I tilted her head back up and kissed her lightly on her lips.

"Hey! No PDA in gym class!"

"Sorry coach," we said in unison. Some if the pack members pointed and laughed until I shut them up with a murderous look.

"Slut," I heard Kaitlyn say while shoulder checking my mate. You wouldn't believe how mad I was. No steam was not coming out of my ears, bit I did want go rip her her vocal cords out of her throat.

"At least I don't sleep with everything that walks," Anna retorted.

"Excuse me?" Kaitlyn said, turning around.

"Did I stutter?"

Oh my God my mate looks so hot when she's angry. She's like a little ball of fire.

They were practically in each others faces, shouting insults at each other until I saw Kaitlyn start to shake and her eyes started to flow a bright blue.

I nodded at Tyler and told him through the mind link to take Kaitlyn out to the woods so she wouldn't change into her wolf and expose us.

I pulled Anna to the side of the track and talked to her, "ate you okay?" I asked. She wouldn't turn her head to look at me be aide she was watching Kaitlyn leave, "Anna?"

I turned her head so she could look at me. When I did her eyes were black, not just her irises, but the whites of her eyes as well.

"Sorry, she just made me so angry. I wanted to hit her so bad," she said, her eyes fading back to her natural green color. "Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked confused.

"Uh, no reason. I just thought I saw an eyelash on your cheek," I rushed out.

Mr. Brosman, Nash and Dallas' father, and my dads' third in command, called us in from the track to get changed before the bell to let us out rang. I changed quickly and left school before the bell rang and went home. Anna tried to talk to me before I left but I ignored her and went on my way.

I don't know how I can talk to her without seeing those eyes on my head...
