Anna's POV

There have been a lot of rogues entering our territory. Dean actually let's me join him to kill them before they hurt anyone else in our pack. Speaking of, we're on our way to kill some now. Brett joined us on this one. Usually he stays home on his laptop all the time.

I could already hear growls and snarling from where we were. Just as we were landing a rogue jumped out at me. I landed on my back with the rogue on top of me snapping its jaws in my face. I grabbed both top and bottom jaw and pulled them apart till they snapped and the rogue fell on me dead. I pushed it off of me and went to help the others.

I looked to my left and saw Brett smash a rogue's head in. Then I saw one about to jump on him from behind, "Duck Brett!" I yelled. He did and I threw my mace at the rogue and it stopped dead in its tracks. Another one was coming right at my brother again so Brett pulled the mace out of the rogues head and hit the new one in the jaw.

I popped my neck real quick and jumped on the back of a rogue that was attacking Dean. I wrapped my arms around its neck and pulled till I felt the head disconnect from the body. Blood squirted out instantly and coated part of my upper body. I tossed the head away and wiped the blood off of my skin. I then stalked over to a rogue that was near the forest edge. I was about to attack it when it shifted back to human form. It was a girl. She had dirty blonde hair and deep brown eyes. A light sprinkling of freckles were on her nose and high cheek bones. She had what looked like a birth mark on her chin. It wasn't too big but it was noticeable. She looked scared to death and not lethal whatsoever.

"Come on, you don't belong here," I said cautiously. "Let's go and get you cleaned up." I helped her to her feet and she wobbled a bit. I took the plaid shirt I was wearing and gave it to her to put on since she was naked, "sorry it's a bit bloody." I apologized.

"It's okay," she responded. Her voice was soft and high pitched but wasn't too annoying. I waited for her to button the shirt up before we started back towards the pack house. Luckily the shirt was long enough to cover everything.

I stopped for a second because I heard something. I turned around and I saw jaws in my face instantly. I grabbed the rogue by its snout and shoved the rogue on the ground. "Bad dog," I said and broke its neck.

Then I saw Dean running towards the girl I was helping so I ran to her, grabbed her in my arms and wrapped my wings around us. I changed my wings to metal right at Dean landed on us.

I could feel his claws dig into the part of my back that wasn't protected by my wings and it hurt like hell. I whimpered from the pain till I felt him get off of me. "You okay?" I asked the girl, more worried about her than myself.

She nodded her head yes and I unwrapped her. I could already feel my back healing. I stood in front of her protectively as I saw Dean back in his human form. His eyes were still glowing and he was breathing heavily.

"Why the hell are you protecting this rogue?" he asked me in a dark tone.

"Does she look like one to you? Her eyes are not bloodshot and she's scared to death!" I took a step away so they he could see her.

I heard her sniff the air and gave her a weird look. She had her eyes closed and was really concentrating on the scent she had located. She snapped her head in my brother's direction and opened her eyes. They were glowing a bright amber color, letting us know that her wolf was in control.
