Anonymous POV

"What fools!" Brett shouted after she walked away. He was obviously mad when the boy told Montana to go back home.

"Shut up, Brett. She will be used when she is ready." I tried to tell him but he wouldn't listen.

"Who are you to tell me to shut up when she is ready to fight now?!"

I was infuriated and the wind started to pick up from my anger. I grabbed him by the neck and pushed him up onto a tree. "I am your mother, that's who. And if I tell you to shut up, you will." I threatened. I squeezed his throat hard and dropped him to the ground. He took deep breathes to get oxygen back into his system.

"I'm sorry. I was just amped up on seeing her fight for the first time."

"I know son, but you will have to be patient. She needs to learn so she be stronger and more knowledgeable. We don't want her to bee killed do we?"

"No, ma'am." Brett said, "Should we see how the fight is going?"

"Sure, why not." I smiled. We flew to the valley they were fighting in and watched from a high branch.

A rogue jumped at the huge black wolf, I'm assuming its the alpha, and barely missed. The alpha turned swiftly and without hesitation, ripped the rogues stomach open with his jaws and the insides came spilling out leaving a lifeless human in its place.

A hunter with white blonde hair shot a cross bow at a brown wolf that was unearthly huge. It ducked and the arrow hit another rogue in the throat, killing it instantly. That was the last rogue to be killed and the hunters started retreating to where they came from. The wolves howled in triumph and the gigantic brown wolf morphed into two smaller wolves. Ah, they must be twins.

We almost cheered for them but didn't want them knowing we were watching. We left as soon as they were done shifting and went back to the area we were staying in.

We made supper and talked about how strong Montana is going to become. Her wings were much bigger than ours, a sign of a true warrior. We knew she was more powerful than us when she looked like a 'human torch'. We haven't seen someone with the element of fire for centuries. I on the other hand, I control the wind and Brett controls earth.

"Hey guys! Sorry we're late we lost track of time." the girls said, my daughters. Julie, the elder one of the two, has long dark, brown hair with blonde streaks in it. Her eyes were seafoam green and the outer ring was a beautiful violet color. The other, Christi, has short, caramel colored hair with deep green eyes with pink streaks through them. They both controlled water and are forces to be reckoned with when put together.

I smiled at them and didn't say a word. They are usually late for everything. We ate the homemade chicken alfredo in comfortable silence.

My son, Brett, excused himself from the table as well as the girls. So, like always, I was by myself to clean up the kitchen. It didn't take long so I sat on the couch with a glass of red wine. I grabbed the photo album that was on coffee table and looked through it like I do every night. I saw all the pictures of the girls when they were born and Brett's first day of school. He was so shy that day, holding onto my leg for dear life.

As I turned the pages, they matured and blossomed into what they are right now. As I got to the last few pages I started to tear up. There she was, my eldest daughter. She was young at the time but she was beautiful. Her eyes were the most beautiful shade of green that I have ever seen. I know I shouldn't have left her but I had too. I knew they were going to take her if I kept her any longer. I'm just so happy they didn't find her.

I started to cry and closed the album. I sat it on the coffee table and walked to my bedroom to get some sleep.
