Dean's POV

Soon after the girls left I got dressed as well. I shook my mother awake and told her to get up and get dressed. She argued with me but gave in shortly after because "I'm her son that she loves oh so much". Her words not mine. We took her SUV and went to Jones Brothers Jewelers.

"Why are we here again?" she asked me.

"To get an engagement ring for Anna," I said quickly. There were a few female pack members here already and I didn't want them to overhear. They like to gossip all the time.

My mom nodded her head as we walked through the main door. We were greeted by the staff with hellos. I walked to the ring counter and looked at their choices.

"Can I help you sir?" A female voice asked.

"Yes. I am looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend."

"How sweet," she said sweetly. "How long have you two been together?"

"Almost two years. I thought it was finally time to get married and settle down with the woman I love."

She nodded her head in understanding, "what kind of ring were you thinking of?"

"Something with a big enough diamond that says 'look at me' but small enough that it doesn't look too pricey."

"Ah, I think I have what you're thinking about. This is a 12 carat, oval cut diamond ring. It has a very beautiful silver band and is priced at-"

"No."

"You don't like the diamond?"

"Not the diamond, the band."

"We have the same in either a gold or stainless steel band."

"Neither of those either. Do you have, maybe, a crystal band?"

She thought for a moment, "Let me check with my manager." She then walked to the back of the store.

"Crystal huh?" my mother said.

"Yes. Silver will hurt both of us, gold won't look as good, and stainless steel is just plain tacky." I turned to her, "Don't you think crystal would look beautiful on an engagement ring?"

"Yes I do. She will love it and be so thrilled that you got her something so stunning."

I smiled and hugged my mom, "thank you."

I heard the sales lady walk back towards us, "We just received a shipment of crystal banded engagement rings," she said happily while opening a box of them."This one here has a thinner band in the front and a thicker one in the back. The diamond is an emerald cut that is bordered with 10 smaller diamonds. Each small diamond is half of a carat while the big diamond is 13 carats."

I took the ring from her hand and observed it closer, "how much will this cost?"

"About 3,500 dollars."

"Do you have this in a size 6?"

"I believe so." she browsed through the rings, "Here we are, a size 6 crystal banded ring."

I smiled, "I'll take it." I pulled out my wallet and gave her my credit card. She swiped it and puy the ring in a nice white box.

I thanked her and was about to leave the store with my mother when I heard, "I hope you two have a beautiful wedding."

Both of us looked at each other and started laughing really hard. The sales lady gave a confused look. I took a deep breath to calm myself down and said, "this is my mother."

She instantly blushed out of embarrassment and we left without another word. We got in the car and were on our way home.

"So."

"So what?" I asked

"How are you going to propose to Anna?"

I was speechless, "I kind of didn't think about that yet."

"You better make it unique and not predictable."

"I know mom," I'm just happy that the girls are out shopping today. They won't be back for hours.

Anna's POV

So, we left the house around 9 o'clock in the morning and now it is 7:30 in the evening and we're just getting home. It was exhausting! My feel hurt so bad and I was only wearing converse! Shop till you drop my ass. More like shop till your feet start bleeding and you die in the middle of the food court.

At least Jennifer has a wardrobe now instead of borrowing clothes. Right when we got home droped whatever was in my hands onto the floor and went upstairs to take a warm bubble bath to sooth my aching feet. After that I got dressed and blew dried my hair and went downstairs for supper.

The meal was quail with roasted red potatoes and it was divine. The best thing I've eaten in a while.

I leaned back in my chair and yawned. I was full from the delicious food and now very tired. I started to doze off at the dinner table when Dean got my attention.

"Hey babe, wanna break the wish bone with me?" I stretched and nodded my head. I grabbed one side of the bone and was about to pull when Dean stopped me. "Whoever gets the bigger part has to say yes to whatever they ask them."

I smiled, "you're on." We pulled until the wish bone broke and I came out on top. "I win! Go get me some tea."

He rolled his eyes with a smile and got me some tea. He came back and kissed my forehead. "Babe, you are so beautiful that I can't even describe it in words. You have this wild, passionate personality and it drives me crazy with love for you." He got down on one knee and pulled out a small white box and opened it revealing the most gorgeous ring I have ever seen in my life, "You are my wild beauty. Would you please do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

I was shell shocked. I felt my eyes brimming with tears of joy and put my hand over my mouth. I tried to say yes but I couldn't so I just nodded my head yes repeatedly.

He smiled and put the ring on my left ring finger and we kissed while everybody that was in the room started to clap.

I finally stopped crying and laughed a little bit, "you wanna know why people put the wedding ring on the left ring finger?" I asked him.

"No I don't actually."

"It's because it is the only finger that has a vein that leads straight to the heart."

He smiled from the fact I told him, "I love you so much." he said pulling me to him again.

"I love you too." We kissed once again. He is the love of my life and I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world.
