Chapter 2

Dylan's POV

I'm so happy that Thalia is coming over after school. I barely know her but I already love her, she's beautiful, funny, smart, honest, and so much more. Plus, she is perfect.

*After School*

I meet Thalia at her locker so we can go to my house.

"Hey", I say to her when I see her.

"Hey", she says back.

"You ready to go?" I ask.

"Just let me put this in my locker", she tells me.

"Okay", I say. She opens her locker and a bunch of notes and pieces of papers fall out. I pick one of them up and read it. It was so mean and hurtful, I feel so bad for her. Thalia doesn't deserve any of this. I look at her and she looks at me.

"Everything okay?" she asks me.

"Ummmm yeah", I say trying not to let her see that I saw what people put in her locker.

"Okay, then let's go", She says to me. I guide her to my car and open the door for her.

"Thanks", she says so quietly I barely hear her.

I get in the car and we drive to my house in silence. When we get there we get out and I lead her to my room.

"So what do you want to do?" I ask her.

"I don't know, want to watch a movie?" Thalia tells me.

"Sure what movie?" I ask.

"You chose", She says.

"Okay", I say. I go to my movie cabinet and look at my movies.

I decide on a scary movie, so then if Thalia gets scared she can have me to protect her.

"How about this one?" I ask and show Thalia the movie.

"Ummm sure", she responds.

I put the movie in and we sit on the couch I have in my room. We both sit at opposite ends but I wish she was sitting right next to me so I could wrap my arms around her.

Thalia's POV

I'm at Dylan's house and I we are going to watch a scary movie. I'm kind of freaking out because it is a scary movie and I don't do well with scary movies.

When the movie starts I glance over to Dylan and see that he's looking at me. I wonder why, I mean I'm not beautiful and I'm bullied by everyone at school. Hair falls in my face and Dylan comes closer to me to move my hair.

He moves my hair and whispers in my ear "You're beautiful don't let what the kids at school say make you think differently about yourself" and I automatically blush.

When he touched my cheek to move my hair I felt butterflies in my stomach. Could I be starting to like Dylan?!?!?!?! No I can't be. Tyler's dating his twin sister

We continue watching the movie, I get scared and every time I get scared I slowly move closer to Dylan. Then finally Dylan and I are almost touching and then the lights went out in Dylan's room.

I scream and start to cry. Dylan holds me as I cry. His arms wrapped around me. I feel safe; I haven't felt this way in a long time. I try and look at him in the eyes but I can't see anything.

A couple mins later the lights come back on.

"Oh sorry", I say and get up.

"It's okay", Dylan tells me and he smiles.

"You sure?" I ask.

"Positive", He says.

Hair falls in my face again, and Dylan moves it out of my face, then he kisses my cheek. I blush a lot and get up.

"Sorry I have to go", I say and run out of his house

Dylan Lewis just kissed my cheek. Thalia don't fall for him, you told yourself you will never fall in love again, after what happened the first time.

Dylan's POV

I'm sitting on my couch with Thalia and hair falls into her face, I of course move it out of the way but then I had to whisper in her ear: you're beautiful don't let what the kids at school make you think differently. And she blushes automatically. And every time she gets scared she moves closer to me.

Then all of a sudden the lights went out and she jumps into my arms screaming. I just wrap my arms around her and try and make her feel safe. I let her cry into my chest until the lights come back on then she gets up; I wish she stayed in my arms.

Her hair falls into her face again and I push it out of the way, just wanting to feel her skin again. Then I kissed her cheek, I couldn't help myself.

After Thalia says she has to go, and runs out. Oh god why did I have to kiss her cheek. I just screwed everything up.

Thalia

Hey, I'm sorry for kissing your cheek.

it's okay, I forgot I had a riding lesson tonight that's why I left so quickly

Oh okay, I thought it was caused I kissed your cheek.

No, I actually liked the kiss on the cheek.

I'm so happy that she liked the kiss, now I just have work up the courage to ask her out.
