Chapter 27

Dylan's POV

*time laps to 3 months before prom*

It's 3 months before prom and I still haven't asked Thalia yet. Every time I come up with an idea to ask her I decide against it because it's not good enough for her. I decided to go to talk to Tyler on a way to ask Thalia to prom.

"Hey Tyler", I say when he opens the door.

"Hey, Dylan. If you're here to see Thalia she's out with our mom right now", He tells me.

"It's okay, I actually came over to ask you something", I respond.

"Me?" He asks.

"Yeah, can I come in", I ask and he moves away from the centre of the door so I can get inside. "So what did you need to ask me?" Tyler asks after I get inside.

"I want to ask Thalia to prom but I don't know how", I tell him.

"Well, I know for a fact that she loved your guys first date so why don't you recreate that and ask her then", He suggests.

"Thanks, Tyler that's perfect. Bye", I say and walk out the door. I rush home and start setting up just like our first date. I can't believe I never thought of this sooner.

*Time laps*

Thalia is coming over soon and everything is set up exactly like our first date. I can't wait to ask her to prom. I hear the doorbell ring and go to get it.

"Hey beautiful", I say to Thalia.

"Hey handsome", She says back and then kisses me.

"You ready for our date?" I ask.

"Yeah but I'm still confused as to why you wanted me to wear the exact same outfit as our first date", She responds.

"You'll find out soon", I say smiling and leading her to my room.

We walk into my room and I smile as soon as I see Thalia's face. The room is just like our first date but there's a sign that says "PROM?" on it against the wall, which you see as soon as you walk into my room.

"Dylan....", Thalia says speechless.

"Thalia Melissa Parker, will you go to prom with me?" I ask her while hugging her from behind.

Thalia spins around in my arms before she answers me. "Yes, Dylan I would love to go to prom with you", She says and then kisses me.

I kiss back never wanting to leave from this moment. Once she pulls away we go to sit down and watch movies just like our first date.

Thalia's POV

I can't believe Dylan did all of this just to ask me to prom. I didn't think he would want to take me to prom, but he does. Prom is going to be amazing spending it with him but it's also going to be really sad since this is his last dance and his last dance with me.

Thalia stop thinking about that

Who are you?

I'm your mind, stop thinking about Dylan graduating enjoy the times you get to spend with him instead of him moving away.

Fine.

I need to find a prom dress, that's perfect. Since I won't be going to my prom next year.
