Chapter 3

Thalia's POV

I still am in shock that Dylan kissed my cheek but when his skin touched mine I felt something go off inside me. It was like a bolt of electricity.

I just left Dylan's house and I'm on my way to my horse barn. I totally forgot about my lesson, so I rush there and quickly tack up Petey. Thankfully he was inside and clean. I ride and then I go home, I'm so tired so I just decide to skip dinner and go straight to bed, but before I can get into my room Tyler stands in front of my door blocking me from getting in.

"Ummm can you please move??" I ask him.

"Not until you tell me where you were before you went to the barn", He says. Ugh! I didn't want to tell him that I was with Dylan He will freak out if he knew.

"I was......Ummm", I say not wanting to tell him.

"Thals tell me or you won't have your book for a week", He threatens me. NO NOT MY BOOK!

"Fine I was umm, I was over at Dylan and Cece's house", I say looking down at the ground.

"YOU WERE WHERE", He practically yells at me.

"You heard me", I retort.

"Why were you there?" He asks.

"Dylan invited me over to watch a movie", I tell him and after that I'm done with this conversation and I just push past him to get into my room and slam the door in his face.

I get ready for bed not wanting to talk to anyone and just to sleep. But of course my phone has to go off, I pick up my phone and see that it's a notification that someone snapchatted my wattpad snapchat. I just leave the snapchat and decide to check it later. Then I fall into my comfy bed and instantly fall asleep.

*Next Morning*

I wake up to my alarm blaring at me, I turn it off then get up not wanting to go to school but then I instantly perk up when I remember that Dylan might sit with me again at lunch.

I decide to wear a pink crop top and black high waisted jeans, then I grab my glasses and put them on my face, I look in the mirror and see how ugly I am no matter what I do or wear. I grab my favourite oversized sweater to cover the scars on my wrists and walk downstairs to see that Tyler is there waiting for me.

"Ummm I thought you left to pick up Cece", I state when he sees me.

"Nope, she told me she had to get to school early to finish a project", He says.

"Oh okay well I have to grab a quick breakfast then I have to walk Charlie to school", I tell Tyler.

"Mom already did that", He tells me.

"Oh, okay", I say confused on why she would do that.

"Hurry up, I'm driving us to school", Tyler tells me.

"Okay", I grab a muffin and my bag then head to Tyler's car.

I sit in the passenger side dreading what's going to happen in the car ride to school. When Tyler gets in we just sit in silence. When we get to school, I get out and go to my locker. When I get to my locker I see that Dylan's there and I start to feel butterflies.

"Hey", I say to him when I see him.

"Hey, how was riding last night?" He asks.

"Good, tiring but good", I respond.

"So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out at lunch again today?" He asks all nervous. God he's cute when he's nervous.

"Sure", I say wishing I could feel his warmth again.

After that he walks away going to his first period class. I all of a sudden miss talking to him. Oh no I'm starting to fall for him.

Dylan's POV

I'm at school waiting for Thalia at her locker. When I see her I just can't help but stare. Oh god I wish I had the courage to ask her out. When she walks up to me I can't help but smile.

"Hey", She says to me.

"Hey, how was riding last night?" I ask her.

"Good, tiring but good", She responds.

"So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out at lunch again today?" I ask all nervous.

"Sure", She says. I smile and walk off to my first period class wishing I could've held her in my arms again.

*Lunch*

I walk to the English Hall stairwell to see that Thalia isn't there yet. I sit down and wait for her.

After about 10 minutes I start to worry so I text her.

Thalia

Hey I'm in the stairwell. Where are you?

I'm outside, I decided to have lunch outside today since it's so nice out.

Oh okay, where are you outside?

Near the back field in the trees.

Okay I'm coming.

Okay see you soon :P

I walk outside and to the trees where Thalia is.

"Hey ditcher", I say to her.

"Hey that's mean", Thalia says pouting at me.

"I know", I say laughing and poking her in the side. And she laughs.

We spend the rest of lunch laughing and her blushing.

"So Thalia I was wondering if you maybe want to go on a date sometime?" I say rubbing the back of my neck all nervous.

"Yeah of course", She tells me looking at the floor.

"You won't regret that you said yes Thalia", I say to her and then I kiss her cheek.

After I kiss her cheek I walk to my last period class happy that I asked her out.

Thalia's POV

I go to last period and I kinda wish I was with Dylan instead of in geography.
