I'm in Thalia's room at her cottage and I'm sitting on the bed watching her put her stuff away.
"Why are you watching me?" She asks.
"Because you're perfect", I say to her smiling and I can tell she's blushing.
"I'm not perfect", She says to me.
"Princess come here", I say to her opening my arms for her.
She walks over to me and sits in my lap while I wrap my arms around her.
"Princess want to know what I see when I look at you?" I ask her, and she nods her head in response.
"When I look at you I see a smart beautiful girl who makes me extremely happy that I get to call her mine", I say to her.
Then I kiss her forehead and then we sit there for a little while longer in silence my arms wrapped around her and her sitting in my lap.
"Dylan?" I hear her whisper.
"Yes princess?" I ask.
"I love you", She says and then kisses my cheek.
"I love you too princess", I say smiling at her.
*Time Laps*
Thalia and I are walking downstairs for dinner, everything is on the table already for us to eat. I take a seat beside Cece while Thalia sits across from me and Charlie sits beside her. My mom sits beside Mrs. Parker and my dad sits beside Mr. Parker, the
only person missing is Tyler. I wonder where he is?
"Mom where's Tyler?" Thalia asks her mom; she must have been thinking the exact same thing.
"He went to bed because of a migraine", Her mom explained.
"OHHHH that would explain it he never misses a meal", Thalia says.
Once we all have our food and start eating our parents start to have their own conversation while the rest of us eat in peace.
Thalia's POV
Dinner is quiet except for the conversation my parents and Dylan's parents are having but I don't pay attention to it, until I hear a question directed towards Dylan about something I didn't want to talk about.
"So Dylan what are you going to do after high school?" My dad asked him.
"In all honesty I have no idea what I want to do but I have applied to go to school in Florida and New York but I'm hoping to be accepted in Florida", He explains to my dad.
I never knew Dylan wanted to go to school in either of those places, but then again we never talked about it.
We finish eating and I go up to my room after I help clean up not talking to anyone.
How could he not tell me about this? Why would he keep this from me? All I'm able to think about is the conversation about what Dylan's doing after high school. I feel hurt inside that he's kept this from me.
Dylan comes into the room only a couple minutes later.
"Why?" Is all I can manage to say.
He looks down at the ground before responding "I didn't tell you because I know you would think I applied to those schools to leave you when that's not the reason at all."
"Then what's the reason?" I ask completely confused.
"The reason I applied to those places was because they both have the best education, and the main reason why I'm hoping to get accepted to Florida is because then if you chose to go down there too, you will be able to bring Petey with you", he says not looking at me.
"Dylan couldn't we have talked about this? I know you're graduating and we might not be able to stay together for very long after you graduate but I still would've liked to be a part of the decision", I say not letting myself hide the hurt I felt.
"I know and I'm sorry", He says finally looking at me.
"It's okay", I say staring into his eyes.
"Let's go to bed we both had a long day", He suggests and I nod my head.
I climb into bed first and he goes in next, he wraps his arms around me while I feel my eyelids becoming heavy.
