Chapter 7- I Just Wanna Know You Better Now

Liam Payne couldn't believe his eyes.

“Class, this is Niall Malik, he's from Year 11, but his brain manages to get him here so please give him a warm welcome,” The Advanced Mathematics teacher of Year 12, Mrs Rowling, introduced the young awkward boy.

He was wearing a warm smile and his blue eyes were once again connected with the cold brown ones. Niall couldn't care less that the fact that Liam was giving him a glare; he was absolutely thrilled that he is in the same class as his Tattooed Angel.

Mr. Green, Niall's previous Math teacher, noticed that all the Year 11 Math question were all too easy for him; he would finish his pop quiz in minutes, no errors in his homework and he would even sometimes correct him in class. So, he decided to give Niall a Year 12 Advanced Mathematics question paper. To his surprise, Niall managed to answer it all. He was rather bewildered to why is Zayn Malik is so different to his brother, both physically and mentally. He had a lot of trouble teaching Zayn last year when he was in his class. Niall was shocked when the teacher told him to pack his stuff because he is going to be transferred to another class. He wanted to have every class with Josh. He still felt bad because of what Harry did to Josh, but said it was fine. Niall was still giving Harry the silent treatment, and he'll only forgive him when Harry apologizes to him and tell him the truth. He was quite taken aback when Harry lied to him, but he loves him too much to care; he'll let this one slide. Mr. Green led him out of the class and head to the Year 12 classroom, telling him that from this day forward, he'll be learning the Year 12 Advanced Mathematics syllabus. When Niall entered the classroom, the first thing, or more like the first person he saw was his Tattooed Angel, sitting at the back of the class. He had asked Josh his name, and Niall thinks that the, Liam, name is absolutely beautiful although is was actually a pretty common name.

“Okay then Niall, find an empty seat, get yourself comfortable. We're about to start our class,” His new teacher Mrs. Rowling, gave him a warm encouraging smile.

There was only one empty spot left in the class, and nobody dares to sit there; it was right next to the one and only Liam Payne. Smiling to himself, Niall made his way to empty seat, completely oblivious to the weird stares people were giving him. Liam, on the other hand, was feeling completely tensed. He had strong mixed feeling about the boy; most of them was telling him to beat him senseless. When the perky boy took the seat next to him, Liam flinched, trying hard not to lash out in class. He didn't understand why was this boy making him feel so,...Angry. Irritated. And jumpy.

“Hi!” His irritatingly cheery voice invaded his ears. “I'm Niall,”

“Don't talk to me,” Liam replied in his calmest voice. Niall frown at the reply, pondering what did he do to make this boy dislike him. Was he too straight forward? Did he offend his Tattooed Angel.

“You-You have beautiful tattoos,” Niall complimented shyly, his pale cheeks blushed slightly. His voice was so sincere, it makes him cringe. Liam didn't understand why was the boy trying to talk to him. He should be staying away from him after the punch.
