Chapter 36

Loki POV:

Bale and Cricilla were staring at each other uncomfortably.

"So, What brings you home?" Cricilla asked Bale.

"Home?" Bale asked looking around.

"I own this place.My parents built this place before they died."

"That's cool." Bale said not making eye contact.

"I haven't seen you in a long time." Cricilla said not making eye contact.

"I was in Hawaii." Bale answered quickly.

"I see. How did you meet Loki and Layla?"

"I met them in Hawaii. You could say I asked out Layla and ended up with Darcy."

"Your dating Darcy?" Cricilla asked making eye contact.

 "Yeah, I am. Are you dating anyone?"

Cricilla looked down. "My boyfriend died."

"How?" Bale asked getting closer to Cricilla.

" I don't what to talk about it."

Bale and Cricilla were now close enough to kiss each other. 

 "Thor, let's go play a game." I said pulling Thor away from Bale and Cricilla

"Brother, what do you wish to play?" Thor asked looking at every game we passed.

"We can play this." I lead him to a game called 'Marvel vs. Capcom'

"Thor, I call player one." I said stepping in front of Thor.

Thor laughed."Do you think I would let you be player one? I'm the oldest." Thor said picking me up and putting me in front of the player two controls.

"Thor, I will be player one."

" We could do what mortals do to decide, rock,paper,scissors." Thor said.

"How do you do rock,paper,scissors?"

Thor taught me signs of rock paper scissors. "Are you ready Loki?"

"I'm ready."

Thor choose rock and I choose paper."I win Thor.Move aside."

Thor went to player two."Even though I'm player two, I will still win."

I put two quarters in the machine and we started playing. I noticed the game had Thor and some of the Avengers.

Thor of course, choose himself and The Hulk and a robot Sentinel.They looked like the biggest characters. "I may be player two, but I will win!" Thor said.

I choose a character named Ryu along with two other characters named Wesker and Dante.

Thor laughed." You allies are tiny compared to mine!"

I looked at Thor with wide eyes. " I didn't know you could say such a big word!"

"I am not a idiot Loki." Thor said in a serious voice.

"Your not?"

The round begun and Thor stared smashing his buttons.I was winning. Their was on thirty seconds left. Thor had two of his characters dead and I, had none.

I used my special which killed his last character." I won." I said leaning on the machine.

"Another round!" Thor yelled putting more quarters in.

Layla POV:

The game pong, is fun. My score is 15 and Darcy's score is 13.

"This game is making me more competitive!" Darcy said.
