Chapter 10- Your My Dilemma

It’s been a week since I’ve seen Edward or Jacob. My life is pretty normal…well until today. I had to go with my dad to Billy’s and I know Jacob would be there. My dad doesn’t care that I’m imprinted anymore; he knows Edward is a vampire and still doesn’t care. You would think that it’s awesome that you have a lot of freedom from your dad but really it’s kind of like a hell hole because you start to think does anyone actually care about you.

I was broken out of my inner thought from yelling coming from the kitchen

‘Kora get ready so we can leave!’ my dad yelled knowing I was awake already

‘Alright!’ I yelled back rolling out of bed and grabbing a pair of jeans, a tight Tap Out shirt that was black, white, and purple from my closet.

I put on some make up, tied my hair in a bun and put my navy blue converse on. I went to the kitchen and found my dad eating one of the popsicles from the freezer

‘Dad that’s mine you know!’ I whined with a puppy dog face plastered on me.

‘I was warm so I grabbed one. Also I paid for it so it’s half mine’ he chuckled hugging me

‘Fine, I’m ready let’s get going’ I said grabbing my blue and white varsity jacket.

I walked outside to find Edward leaning on a black gas powered scooter

‘Hey what you doing here?’ I asked wrapping my arms around him giving him a hug

‘Just bringing over your new scooter’ he chuckled throwing a key to me; I caught it flawlessly.

I was confused, why did he buy me a scooter?

‘Because you walk everywhere and thought you should have a ride to use. I wanted to get my best friend an early birthday present’ he chuckled reading my mind.

It was already the end of November and my birthday was the 27th, it was now 6 days and counting till I was 17. I smiled at my awesome present and thanked Edward at least 4 times.

If your wondering how Edward was doing about Bella well I’m trying to help him

‘So how are you doing about the Bella thing?’ I asked seeing my dad walk up the drive way passing behind Edward.

‘I still go and watch her sleep, I can’t help it I still love her’ he shrugged and me I rolled my eyes in frustration

‘You know what I said about that, its super creepy man. You’re like a stalker watching a victim sleep’ I whispered/yelled smacking his arm knowing that he knew I distasted those kinds of actions

‘I know but it’s hard to break habit Kora’ he stuffed his fists in his jean pockets in a sad frustration

‘You broke your habit of drinking human blood right; well you can do this Edward! I don’t want to see you suffer like this, it’s not good!’ I yelled pushing over to the side of my house.

I looked to see my dad waiting at the end of the drive way pacing

‘Make me a promise Edward that you will stop whining about a little human who broke your heart and be the bad ass vampire I know you are’ I said in a matter-of-fact tone holding my pinky out to him
