Chapter 26

 

Seeing Jacob again was amazing, he looked amazing with his orange/brown fur moving in the wind. I stepped forward closer to him, he didn’t move so I went all the way up to him slowly touching his snout. It felt soft and smooth under my hand he started moving his snout in my hand looking content, I smiled at just having him here with me again.

He started moving backwards going behind a tree. I could here him moving around behind the bush. I watched him come back around in his human form having a look of surprise on his face.

We didn’t move for moments both not knowing what to say but we knew what to do. Jake started to walk over to me but before he could do anything else I ran over to him and leaped in his arms feeling like I was home in his warm tight embrace.

‘Are you really here Kora’ he whispered into my hair holding me close to him and me holding him close as well

‘It’s me babe I’m back’ I said having a feeling of relief wash over me

He put me down and held me back enough so we could look at one another his eyes truly said it all

‘You don’t know how much I missed you baby I’ll never let anything come between us ever again I need you’ he said quickly and pulled me into a kiss

The kiss was not your average kiss at all it was filled with love, passion, need, and want. I felt the same way putting everything I felt into the one kiss. Are lips moved in sync with each other they molded like two puzzle pieces. He licked my lower lip wanting entrance and I gave it to him.

I felt myself being pushed up against a tree feeling Jakes hands run up my shirt; I ran mine down his abs feeling every inch of it. I broke the kiss feeling rather breathless but I rested my head on his shoulder smiling at what I felt for him

It was love; pure love that you could only find in the story books

‘Kora I’m so glad your back I love you so much I don’t want you to ever go away’ Jake rambled to me

‘I love you to; I’m in love with you and you’re the one who brought me back here’ I whispered feeling rather emotional

‘I’m so glad to hear those words it makes me feel amazing’ he said and I could tell he was smiling and I was doing the same

‘Lets go back to the house with everyone and than maybe we could go back to my place or something’ I said lifting my head from his shoulder and seen him pouting like a little kid not getting his ice cream

‘Do we have to?’ he whined to me

‘Yes we do’ I said simply and started walking back hand in hand with Jacob.

I walked into the house and went straight to the living room to see everyone in there just talking and doing the usual but the one person I didn’t see was Heather

‘We need to talk to you about some things and one of them is Heather’ Edward answered for me, he was sitting beside Bella and she looked nervous

‘Alright what’s up’ I asked them

‘Promise not to freak?’ Jasper asked me and I nodded a yes

I seen them shift a bit and I could tell the room was uncomfortable

‘You see when you were in the otherworld Heather was attacked and short story she was turned into a vampire’ Edward said quickly and the room fell silent

“My best friend was turned” was all I could think of at first

‘Is she okay?’ I asked looking at them

‘She’s fine but Embry hasn’t been around to see her and she doesn’t crave human blood she’s rather disgusted of it ‘ Edward chuckled on his last part

‘Is that how she entered my dream; because it’s her gift?’ I asked realization starting to come to me

‘Yes that’s her gift it’s rather remarkable I might add’Carlislespoke from across the room

‘Were she?’ I asked wanting my best friend

From the other side nearAlicecrept out Heather, she honestly looked amazing in her vampire form but she looked rather out of place. I stood up and walked over to her even though I heard Jacobs slight growl I ignored it

‘So how’s vampire life?’ was the first thing that came out of my mouth

‘Good just missing my best friend but glad that I’m apart of your world’ she smiled embracing me in a hug I automatically returned.

Life was going to get good from here and I was glad because the people in my life I need even though I don’t talk to them much or I just don’t say anything about it.

I missed my dad he was still on his trip and I haven’t heard from him but I know I will I just have to be patient.
