5SOS dates - Calum

Calum

You have known Calum forever. You've both liked each other since you can remember, so neither of you have had relationships, hoping the other person would make the move. Finally after about 5 years of seriously crushing on Calum, he built up the courage to ask you out on a date. Of course, you said yes, maybe a little too enthusiastically but it was still a yes so Calum was just as happy as you were.

Today is "date day", as your sister has taken to calling it, but you are ill. You really don't want to cancel this date because it's with Calum, and he genuinely looked so happy when you said yes. So you are battling through the illness because you want to spend the day with him.

You roll out of bed, sneezing a couple of times as you make your way to the bathroom. You shower, washing your hair and body until you smell so good you kind of just stand there smelling yourself for a bit. And then you climb out, wrapping yourself in a towel.

Upon entering your room you head to the wardrobe to pick out today's outfit. You and Calum are planning on going to the cinema and then the near-by Nando's, so you want to look dressy but casual at the same time. Keeping it simple, you go for a cropped t-shirt that says 'city girl' in big font on it, with a dark red skater skirt and a pair of white espadrilles. You decide to keep the hair and make-up fairly simple, painting your nails summer yellow to make them stand out. You leave your hair in it's natural state which is slightly messy so it falls down your back and your fringe slightly covers your eyes. The only item of jewellery you're wearing is the golden charm bracelet Calum got you last year for your 16th birthday, and other than when you go to the beach, swimming or do anything involving water, you never take it off. You glance yourself over in the mirror, and you feel like shit. You look fine, you are happy with your appearance, but you just feel SO ill and you don't know what to do. That is, until you hear the door bell go. You know your parents are out so you go downstairs to answer the door, and you see Calum standing there, in a white tank top with the Starbucks sign on it, a pair of tight, black skinny jeans and his white converse, you can't help but grin at his cuteness.

His smile drops when you sneeze. "Y/N, are you ill?" You avoid eye contact with him, looking away as you nod. "I'm so sorry Calum, I tried to feel better I really did! I really wanted to go out with you today, that's why I got ready and-", he cuts you off by engulfing you in a huge hug. "Don't worry Y/N, we can just have a movie night here!" You look at him and smile, he kisses your forehead and you invite him in.

It's about 8pm and Calum says he's going to go home to get his pyjamas, as your parents are out, you asked him to stay over. You nod, and as soon as he's gone, you run upstairs to put your pyjamas on. Which consists of a grey with 'batman' written on it with a silhouette of a bat on it. You sigh in frustration when you realise that the only pyjama shorts you have are leopard print with a white lace hem, but it's only Calum so you don't care. You pull on a pair of knee length white socks, with navy stripes at the top and you tie your hair up in a bun, letting bits of hair fall out of the back.  http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=89104120

Just as you finish getting ready you hear the doorbell go and you run downstairs to open it to see Calum wearing a pair of grey track pants and his Starbucks singlet, wrapped up in a navy hoody. He stares at your legs for a bit then says "you look hot in tube socks", you blush, jokingly slap his arm and invite him in to your house.

You grin when you see he brought tubs of ice cream, chocolate and popcorn, as well as several movies. You let him get comfy on the sofa and you run upstairs to grab some blankets and pillows and you bring them down to make a little fort on the sofa.

When the two of you are in a comfortable position, you play the first film. You aren't really paying attention to it, but you are paying lots of attention to Calum, whom you are snuggled up to. He has wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you in to him.

You find yourself smiling at his cuteness whenever he laughs at something in the film. You look away when you sense him moving and he says "Y/N, I can feel you staring at me", you sigh quite loudly, louder than you were expecting, causing you to blush and look at him, "sorry" you finally manage to squeak out, causing him to grin his wonderful grin at you. He smiles and says "I don't mind, I like seeing those gorgeous eyes of yours", you feel your cheeks burning and you bury your head in his chest until you feel his hand pull your chin gently up to face him. "Y/N, would you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?", you can tell he's nervous because when you don't reply straight away he glances down and back up with worry and confusion in his eyes. "Yes" you say causing him to blink at you. "Yes, I'd love to be your girlfriend Calum", he beams at you like a child on Christmas, and slowly starts to lean in, caressing your jaw line as he slowly plants a small kiss on your lips. You pull back so your lips are hovering over each others. "Thank you" he whispers before gently kissing you again.

You both pull back and snuggle again, exchanging mini kisses every now and then, until you fall asleep in your boyfriends arms.
