5SOS dates - Luke

You're panicking right now. You are going on a date tonight with a guy you met at the airport about a month ago. You two have been texting each other constantly since the first encounter because you can't stop thinking about him.

He seemed so normal, and you thought he was, until you told your older sister about him. She'd asked if you had a photo of him, and when you'd showed her, she'd freaked, thrown your phone across the room, not to break it and yelled a bunch of profanities. On calming down she'd progressed to tell you who the boy was. He was THE Luke Hemmings from 5 Seconds of Summer, her favourite band.

So now, you are sitting on your bed, in your towel contemplating whether you should go on the date. You feel scared, what if he doesn't like you? What if he decides you aren't actually that pretty? But yet, you still feel a bit confident after all, he is THE Luke Hemmings and he asked YOU out of all the girl fans he encounters to go on a date with him, so that is a little confidence booster.

After about 10 minutes deciding what to do, you decide you'll go on the date, just to see how it goes. You head to your wardrobe to find a 'casual' outfit, as he plainly put it in his text. You decide on a tight fitting pair of black skinny jeans, a American flag tank top that looks slightly faded and a pair of black and white vans. You roughly plait your hair to the side, keeping your make up pretty natural except for the red lipstick you wear with the outfit. You grab a pair of pink sunglasses place them on your head, and at that point, the doorbell rings. Your heart literally stops for about 5 seconds when you hear Luke's Aussie accent ringing through the house. "Y/N!!" Your sister yells up the stairs snapping you from your little day dream. You grab your bag and make your way downstairs, to see Luke standing near the front door looking as nervous as you feel, but when he sees you his entire face lights up, like a child on Christmas and you find yourself grinning too.

Your sister gives you some money and you follow Luke out the front door, continuously apologising for her sister harassing him for 5 minutes, to which he shrugs and just laughs it off, like nothing happened. Just as you round the corner of your street, Luke stops you by gently hold your wrist and spinning you to face him, causing you to gasp at the surprise, he giggles slightly as you blush. "Y/N, you look so gorgeous today", you slowly feel your face changing colour at his comment "thanks, you don't look too bad yourself" is all you manage to say after his little outburst, he gives you a smirk and you die. Not literally, but mentally.

You arrive at the cinema and head in, and you can't help but smile at the fact he's brought you to the cinema because after all, he's quite popular in Australia and he's bringing you to a pretty open place, where the public can see you. As soon as you enter the cinema, you see girls heads turning in your guys' direction, you glance up at Luke, who smiles at you and takes your hand, walking the both of you to the ticket booth.

Not really bothered about what film you go and see you let Luke pick and pay, and then you make your way to the food stand to get sweets, popcorn and drinks, and then you go and take your seats in the theatre. When you sit down, you realise people are watching the two of you, so you look at Luke who just says "I'm sorry, I wanted this to be 'our' thing, but it obviously isn't", and he sighs. You giggle at his cuteness and take his hand and say "it's perfect". He beams at you, and is about to say something when the film starts, so he just leans over and gently kisses your cheek. You smile stupidly at him before turning to watch the movie.

About halfway through it, you feel Luke use the old 'stretching' move on you as he slowly and awkwardly moves his arm around your shoulder, you giggle and move closer in to him causing him to sigh in relief. You smile and lean up and kiss his cheek. and even though it's dark in there, you can see him blushing.

After a while, you feel Luke staring at you, so you look at him and as soon as your eyes make contact with his, he leans in and kisses you, just once, but it's perfect. You both pull back smiling before returning to your snuggled position on the chairs.

Lets just say, it was the best first date ever.
