STRIDE

One episode and this show has already gotten a (small) tumblr fandom. It's small right now, BUT IT EXISTS. I cannot remember the last time a single episode of anime has hooked me like this. And this opening! The animation! The music! The humor! The characters! It's amazing! (it's based off a game, but it's so GREAT!) 

I'm so glad I found a show to make me feel better after finishing Free! Eternal Summer. Now I'm not upset about Free! ending. Okay, as upset about Free! ending. I'm still upset, just not as much.

I'm super excited about this show! I'm one of those epic people who joined the fandom after the first episode right after it aired. 

I'm so sorry if I'm annoying everyone about this show, but there will probably be a lot of chapters about it. In case anyone was curious here's the plot (as told from myanimelist):

  The series is about an extreme form of sport known as "Stride." It involves 6 players on a team that runs relay races in towns. The story takes place at Honan Academy where first year high school students Takeru Fujiwara and Nana Sakurai try to recruit members for their "Stride" club. They request Riku Yagami to join with the help of Takeru and Nana. Their goal is to compete and win the "End of Summer," a top competition hosted in Japan alongside other schools.

I think I read something somewhere that it'll have 12 episodes. I hope they do multiple seasons of 12 episodes. I'd be a very happy otaku.
