So, I've decided to start posting about anime and manga, anime movies included, that I finish and possibly reccomend them to you and just rate them personally.

The anime movie I just barely finished is called Hotarubi No Mori E. It's based off a manga one-shot and is 45 minutes long.

It was animated in 2011 and the animation is simple and beautiful, and the storyline was charming and simple. It was very enjoyable.

The storyline goes like this:

Young Hotaru, the main female, gets lost in a forest near her uncle's house over summer vacation. After trying to find an exit and failing she eventually breaks down and starts crying.

Then she meets Gin, a guy living in the forest. He doesn't let her touch him and explains that if he touches a human then he will disappear, then leads her out of the forest, giving her a warning to never go back.

Of course she goes back the next day and they become friends, despite not being able to touch. Hotaru visits Gin every day of every summer for years and.... Well, I don't want to spoil it for you, so I'm stopping the summary there!

Go watch it! Seriously, it's 45 minutes long, watch it.

It's a simple romance shojo type anime and it's just adorable. The music was beautiful and fit amazingly with the animation and plot. The ending song was just... Ahhhh! It was amazing. Freaking beautiful.

I give it 5/5. I loved it. I know others don't like more melodrama/school days/shojo stuff like this, but I thought it was very sweet.

I definetly reccomend this to shojo fans.
