Ah! I know I updated this only a couple hours ago, but I forgot to say how I got into the musical of The Hamilton!
This musical is following Alexander Hamilton during the revolutionary war and it's freaking AMAZING!
You can only listen to the cast recordings since it's a Broadway musical that hasn't been filmed, but it's SO WORTH IT
It was so funny and so sad and I cried through the last several songs, but it was worth it!
There are 40+ songs, and I reccomend listening to all of them! I literally locked myself in my room all of yesterday and only listened to the songs.
My favorite song is number 6, called Farmet Refuted. It. Is. The. Best.
I've had the lines: "For shame!" "For the revolution!" "For shame!" "FOR THE REVOLUTION!" stuck in my head all day and it's great and super dramatic.
And get this: This musical has freaking rap. It seemed like it'd all be nice singing and stuff, no, they'll burst out rapping. I think George Washington was rapping, too.
