Chapter 43 - She's back

Pagkatapos kong sabihin kila Besty yung balita, kanya kanya na kami ng punta sa ospital, sa sobrang panic nga muntik pa naming makalimutan magbayad. Grabe. Nangingig ako, hindi ko alam kung bakit, hindi ako mapakali. She's been asleep there for like I don't know months! I lost track!!! I can't stop biting these goddamn fingers when Chace grabbed my hand and squeezed it. 

"Babe, relax. Nagising na siya, ano bang kinakatakot mo?" tanong niya sakin while his eyes are still on the road.

"Ehh. Madami. Like, paano ko sasabihin yung nangyari kay Austin." Oh God, problema pa pala yon. Paano na?! Paano kung sisihin niya yung sarili niya?!

"Don't worry. We'll handle this. We'll get through this, remember?" He said and kisses my hand. I have the most loving boyfriend ever, mainggit kayo bitches!!! 

When we arrived at the hospital, tumakbo na ko papunta sa hospital room ni Lay. When I reached the front door, I can't. I'm crying, bigla nalang tumulo yung luha ko and I have to wipe these fcking tears before I go inside. Ayokong makita ako ni Lay na malungkot. No, not now. 

"Babe." someone grabbed me from behind and hugged me

"I'm scared, Chace." I faced him and hugged him back. 

He grabbed my chin and made me look at him "Ano bang sabi ko sayo? Kaya mo yan. I know you're stronger than this. Let's go." He led me towards the door "together" he smiled and opened the door

"Sis!!!!!" tawag niya sakin the moment she saw me. Oh sht tears, don't betray me!!! Agad akong bumitaw kay Chace para yakapin si Lay "I missed you sis. Sobra." wala, umiiyak na talaga ako. 

then I heard her laugh. Wtf, is she really laughing at me right now?!!! "Hoy! Di pa ko patay, wag mo nga ako iyakan" sabi niya sakin while laughing. Ghaaaad. Di parin talaga nawala yung pagkapraning niya, Thank God, normal parin yung kapatid ko. 

Pinunasan ko na yung luha sa mukha ko "Psh. Ewan ko sayo. Praning!"

"Miss you sis. So ano ng balita? For like almost 1 year na beauty rest ko, I guess a lot of things happened around while I was gone." she said with a teasing smile. What the hell is that look?!!! Then naramdaman kong hinawakan na ni Chace yung bewang ko. 

"Hi Lay, glad you're back." he said to her

"Sabi ko na eh. Lakas talaga kutob namin ni Austin eh." she smiled then a frown showed up "I know, you don't need to tell me. Guess he didn't make it this long huh? I was prepared for that."

Oh no. Hindi niya alam na napaaga yung deadline ni Austin. 

I grabbed Lay's hand "About that. I have to tell you something...."

"Sht. Sis, I don't like that tone. Sobrang bad news ba yan?" Eto na yung kinakatakot ko eh. Please, help me God. 

"He died.... when you were with him in the car accident."

"Oh nooo." she said looking shocked as ever. She covered her mouth with both hands para mapigilan yung iyak niya. "Why? Paano na lahat ng plano namin? Wala bang nangyari?!" she said while fighting back the tears na namumuo na sa mata niya. 

"I got it Lay" I hugged her and soothe her back "Thank you for helping him. He's gone now and he's happy for me, I think"I grabbed her face with both of my hands "Kailan ka pa natutong magtago ng sikreto. Tsk tsk tsk. Ikaw talaga." then tuloy tuloy ng tumulo yung luha niya.

"sssshhhh. Okay na ko Lay. Mahirap man pero kailangan tanggapin. and I've gone with the acceptance phase and I'm happy now" I smiled at her while wiping tears from her face.
