The plane softly landed in California, Rhett and Link had been alone in the big private jet, only having the occasional visit from the chef or something. The food was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing, which was a big plus since it was a quite long flight. It was literally across the country. Link had fallen asleep after eating his meal, Rhett tried to fall asleep to, but never succeeded. He leaned against the wall, sighing and looking out the window. The mansion he bought seemed to be the perfect place for him and Link, it was big. Although hidden, it was hidden in a large forest and unless you knew it was there, you'd never find it. The thick leaves of the trees and bushes made the house pretty much invisible until you got close enough. They black suited men stepped out of the plane, got their luggage and left. It was in the middle of the night, but the city was anything but asleep. Rhett drove a black, shiny city jeep through the roads, Link fell asleep the moment he fastened his seat belt. The thoughts rushed through Rhett's head, what was Link going to think about the house? Was he gonna like it? Had prison changed him?

Prison had changed Rhett. Him and Link's sentences didn't match up, Rhett was in there for over a month before Link got there. And during that time he'd gone back to be quiet and shy, something that the other prisoners made fun of him for. When he refused to talk to them they beat him, beat him until he whimpered for mercy, finishing it with a kick to the face. One of the guys once kicked Rhett so hard in the face that it almost broke his nose. He didn't want to talk to anyone unless Link was visiting, which he did almost everyday. And when Link was in prison with him, he fought back as soon as anyone tried to beat him, and Link stood on the side smiling. Rhett couldn't understand it, but just Link's presence made him more confident.

But he was finally out of that prison, and so was Link. They were unstoppable now, no one would ever catch them again. Rhett got of the highway and drove into the forest, off-roading a little. That's why he choose a jeep, any other car would never be able to go through. Link woke up from the bumpy ride and sat back up properly.

" Good morning sleepyhead. " Rhett chuckled, keeping his eyes fixated on the road.

" Where are we? "

" Going home, we're almost there. "
