Link woke up in his new bedroom, the room was almost bigger than his old apartment. The walls were dressed in dark red velvet. He sat up, he couldn't hear a sound, everything was so quiet. His feet touched the cold marble floor and he walked up to the window. With carefully steps he got up and sat on the window sill, he opened the window and felt the warm summer air hit him. Now he heard quiet bird songs from far away, and water sloshing around in the little pond they had in the backyard. With a sigh of happiness he took a deep breath and just stayed on the window sill. Although he never felt unsafe in his apartment he felt so happy being in this place. Link had a soft, sensitive side. It was just a side of him he never showed Rhett. Link was afraid that if Rhett saw his soft and sensitive side, he'd be disappointed or make fun of him, while realistically Rhett would accept it within a second. Rhett had a too strong connection with Link to make fun of him in that way.

After sitting at the window sill for over an hour, just thinking, Link jumped down and walked out from his bedroom. He couldn't quite remember how big this house actually was since he was so groggy and tired when he got in last night. He stepped out into a large hallway, he walked along the wall and ended up on some balcony, having a view of the bottom floor. Everything was so, pretty. Rhett wasn't awake yet, so Link decided to take a shower and get dressed. After correcting his tie and putting his hat on he once again walked out the hallway, down the stairs to the kitchen. The house was still very quiet. The newspaper had arrived, Link grabbed and sat down at the kitchen table, browsing through it. And just as he did, a dressed, showered Rhett stepped into the kitchen.

" I didn't know you were such an early bird. " Link smiled, chuckling a little.

Rhett smiled back and made coffee for the two of them. Link kept browsing through the newspaper until he found an article that really caught his eyes.

" Dude, look at this. " He said and waved Rhett over. The article were about the two of them.

" Master thief duo let out of prison early for good behavior. " Rhett mumbled. " What can I say? It's a  good tactic. " He chuckled and went over to check on the coffee.

" I never thought we'd make the newspaper, for simply legally get out of prison. " Link said.

" Who cares? " Rhett chuckled.
