While Rhett slept the day away Link parked the vehicle in a safe place, relatively close to the club they were going to hit later the same night. He also made sure all guns had ammo and that their fingerprints wouldn't smear of on anything. He felt so secure about it, he knew they'd succeed.

Link was so surprised Rhett manged to sleep the whole day away. He took a nap or two himself, but Rhett slept non-stop since they talked whilst on the interstate until now, at 10:30 PM when Link woke him up. Rhett opened his eyes, which were filled with energy, he'd been saving up. Rhett knew it was a dangerous mission and if they got caught he'd be screwed. Rhett sat up properly and smiled at Link.

" Morning sleepyhead. Time to work. "

Rhett smirked.

" Already? What time is it? "

" 10:34, you've slept the whole day away dummy. " Link said and took out a bottle from a cabinet.

" Sorry, I just know I'm gonna be the one driving us away from this. Someone needs to stay alert and awake all night. "

" And you didn't think I could do that? "

" Link, come on. We both know you're not a nightowl, at least not nearly as much as me. "

" I guess you have a point. " Link said a poured himself a glass of whiskey. " You want some? "

Rhett shook his head.

" As I said, I'm gonna be the one driving us away from this. "

Link chuckled and took a sip from his drink. The moment he swallowed it he felt the oh so familiar warmth spread throughout his body. The warmth of bravery. Rhett noticed it and smiled.

" You're weird. " Rhett smirked.

Link chuckled and took a big gulp, finishing his drink.

" I know, but as long as it works I'm happy with it. " Link said, his voice already slurred a little.

" Just take it chill with the booze. "

" I'm not a teen anymore Rhett, I can take care of my own drinking. "

" I'm just looking out for ya. "

Link didn't care about what Rhett said and poured himself another glass.

" Listen, I've been thinking a little. Why don't we ditch the guns and just go old school, sneaking around and taking what we get? " Rhett mumbled.

" Where's the fun in that? " Link said, slurring even worse.

" I said take it chill with the booze, they'll never let us in if you're all drunk. "

" Shut up Rhett, but fine. I'll calm down. My question is why would we ditch the guns? "

Rhett didn't come up with a good answer so he stayed quiet.

" See, you can't even tell me why. But, we're just bringing pistols. No shotguns or anything. It'll be peaceful, trust me. " Link said and walked out of the car.
