The evil smirk on Link's face grew wider with every shot, Rhett had no idea how to react so he just put his arms around his head and got down on his knees. He looked up at Link from time to time, and when he saw Link lower his gun and run out, he was quick to follow. There were too many people around for them to be spotted, both outside and inside the club. Link ran at full speed down the side walk, and with every step he came even closer to fall over. Rhett ran about 10 feet behind him, sometimes being just as close to falling. Link fell and glided on the warm asphalt, elbows, shoulder hip and knees were skinned quite badly. His hat and sunglasses bounced of and Rhett stopped right in front of him.

" Get up! " Rhett gasped and took Link under his arm. " We gotta get out of here! "

Rhett did a quick turn into the alley where the mobile home was parked. He jumped into it and threw Link on the seat next to him. With a quick turn of the keys the engine rumbled and he drove away. He basically stood on the petal to gain as much speed as possible. Link was half asleep, he was still awake, but not much more than that. He could feel the pain of his elbows, shoulder and knees, but he couldn't focus on it. Rhett's heartbeat got quicker and quicker by the second, blood and adrenaline rushed through his body. But this time he wasn't having the rush of stealing something, he was scared, having a flight or fight response. What if Link actually shot someone? What if someone died in the club that night? What had happened to Link, his behavior changed so drastically and so much. What had happened?

" What the F just happened Link?! " Rhett shouted, his fear slowly turned into anger.

Link looked up at him.

" I... I... I don't know. " Link whisprered.

" What do you mean you don't know?! "

Link didn't answer, he hiccuped and passed out from the alcohol. Rhett just sighed loudly and kept driving.

" You'll get the hangover you deserve tomorrow. "
