Chapter 19:

Elena's POV

ALL OF A SUDDEN, I COULD FEEL MY EYES ROLL into the back of my skull. We were back at my house and then I fell to the ground, blackness covering me. I heard another body fall to be ground, it must've been Sidmin. My eyes flew open, only to seem myself in the place I did earlier. I was on some type of ancient temple and the atmosphere was nothing but clouds with sunlight shining through them in the distance. Sidmin appeared next to me. This place was beyond beautiful but, why were we here? People could've been dying in this exact moment.
        "Where are we?" asked Sidmin.
"Welcome to Skytown. It's good seeing you two once more." said a woman, walking from behind us. She had on a champagne coloured dress and her hair was a long dark midnight blue color. I recognised her voice. "You're the woman from my coma. You said you were sending me to my family." I said.
"You were always the one to figure it out first. Did you tell him?"
"Tell me what? Who are you?" asked Sidimin.
"My name is Celist. I am the Goddess of Skytown, Guardians of the Charmcasters, and keeper of this place. But, Elena has something you need to know..."
"Sidmin, you remember when Starlet told me about Elissa Aimes having a cut on the back of her right thigh?" I asked. He rose a brow, nodding his head. I raised my pants leg and he saw the cut on the back of my right thigh. "Y-you're Elissa."
"Which means you're indeed Taylor." said Celist.
"No no. I can't be him, he might've killed-"
"I know what you two are thinking but there are more important matters that we must discuss right now."
"Such as?" asked Sidmin and I in unison.
"You two only have two more months on Earth until you disappear of course. You guys need to be preparing for departure, time is your greatest gifts right now." said Celist, with ease.
"What do you mean before we disappear?" I asked.
"Every thirty four years, you two must come here to...recharge." said Celist.
        "Recharge for what?" asked Sidmin.
"Time will provide you your answers, but you must leave that cursed town until the disappearing date. The world needs you two more than ever right now, and staying in Half Moon Bay isn't an option. I must go now."
My eye lids flipped opened and I jerked up, facing Sidmin in shock. He had the same expression on his face. So part of this was starting to make sense. Sidmin and I disappeared every thirty four years into that Skytown place, but why did we come back not knowing where we were from? And, why did we have to leave, did we do something bad? If leaving the town meant that Sidmin and I would actually be saving it, then we would've done it. However, we couldn't just leave all of these people helpless. Even if Celist was a weird goddess, she seemed honest and truthful. Was us staying here actually hurting the city. I slowly stood up, taking my hair out of the messy ponytail. Everyone was staring at us and honestly, I still felt quite light headed.
"Are you guys okay?" asked Veronica.
"Yah, we were just trying out for a play. We were doing the part where the two characters disappear for thirty four years." said Sidmin. I nudged him in the shoulder and quickly said, "never mind him. The force field is up." I walked into my room upstairs and jumped onto my bed. I took the picture of my little brother and I and clanged it to my chest. I could feel a tear starting to fall down my eye. I remembered when he was first born, how I was so anxious to hold inside my arms. God I wished they were all still here, my family. Maybe they could've helped me adopt to this weird prophecy. Then something clicked, who was my family when I was Elissa Aimes? Did they just keep rotating?
I looked out of the window of my house and could feel myself slipping into a sort of depressing state. How was I going to tell Ashton all of this? I wasn't going to be able to live with him much longer, that we only had two more months to actually be with each other. What if he expected me to be around later, I didn't want to hurt him like that. I didn't want him to think that I purposely hurt him either but I just couldn't tell him that I was about to disappear. A thought came to me, Celist told us that we needed to leave town. I was starting to think that wasn't such a bad idea, but where was I going to go....then it came to me. Sapphire and her daughter went to Portland, maybe they never left? It was a stretch, but it was totally worth it to try to see if I could find her daughter Sarah.
Maybe Sarah could tell me about me. I slowly walked out of my room and downstairs to where the hunters gathered. Cason was seating in between them. It was nice to see the hunters not trying to kill him or anything and maybe he would come to Portland with me. After all, he was a giant mystery and also connected to Sapphire. I slumped next to Sidmin and quietly told him, "I'm leaving town soon."
        "Why?" he asked, curious.
"Celist told us to, and I need to find Elissa's niece."
"How long will you be gone?"
"However long it takes me to find her Sidmin. Listen, I don't think you should stay here.
