Chapter 21:

Elena's POV

I SLOWLY BEGAN TO FLUTTER MY EYES OPEN, looking at the foggy and dark atmosphere. I got up quickly and noticed that this place looked exactly like Half Moon Bay, except the fact that it was freezing there. I heard noises behind her me and I quickly turned around, looking to two small twins sitting down on a swing set. I walked up to them and gave them a slight smile, saying, "hey you two cuties. How did you two get here?" The twin boys looked at me and then they suddenly started to transform into two really good looking teenagers. I stepped back as they approached me.
"How did you get here?" asked one of the twins.
"I-my name is Elena Locke. Listen, I came here to help you guys. I hear that you feel like you're running out of time." I replied, softly. The twin boys looked at me with their dark brown eyes and blonde hair. "I'm Raymond, and that's my brother Frank."
"Nice to meet you two, listen we need to get out of here." I said, "we can't stay here forever, I really can't."
        "We cannot go back now, Ashton will kill us if he finds out that our rogue attack didn't go as he planned," I rose a brow and looked at them with curiosity, did they just say that Ashton was behind this attack. If Ashton was behind it, no doubt that Jordan had something to do with it too. Why did they send rogues to their own home town, were they trying to destroy everyone in it. I was behind furious, but I was letting my love for him cloud my judgement. I almost didn't want to leave him anymore.
        "Why did Ashton order the rogues to come here?" I asked.
        "He wanted us to destroy all of the humans, leave no humans alive. Then, there was an accident...."
        "What happened?" I asked.
        "A force field was put up and well, it killed someone really important."
        "Who?"
        "We can't tell you." replied Frank.
        All of a sudden, I felt urge to turn around. When I did, I found another me sitting on the concrete. Was that Elissa? I ran over to her, yelling her name. She rose up and looked at me and her eyes widened with shock. She quickly began running away from me and I wanted to use my powers so bad to stop her, but when I rose my hand, I noticed that my powers were not working. I stopped in my tracks and looked at my hands, why weren't my powers working. I turned to the twins who were looking up in fear. "He's coming!" They both yelled. They both ran to me and cuddled beside me, they were scared. I hoped they know I couldn't protect them anymore, my powers were gone for now. Yay. A name started being carved into the ground, it was Ashton's name. Why were the twins so scared of him?

Sidmin's POV

I CONTINUED READING THROUGH ELISSA'S DIARY, seeing that she said that she would go to a grass field to kill herself, maybe Elena was going to the same place. I left the archives in a hurry and headed to Closs Meadows, the only grassy place in the town. My fast paced walking turned into a quick run and then into a superhuman run. When I got to the meadows, there lied Elena's dead and pale body. I examined her, there was no cut marks or entry wounds. What could've been the cause of death. Maybe if I just went back through her, maybe I could see it. I grabbed her arm and then took a deep breath. Elena was on the phone with Ashton, making him say that he didn't love her. She placed her hand over heart and it was like she was making her heart stop beating with her mind. The vision ended and I gasped. This was bad.
CRUNCH! I jumped around to see a teary eyed Ashton coming towards me quickly. He shoved me out of the way and went down to hug Elena's body. His quiet weeps turned into loud yells of why. Jordan stared at me and then went to comfort his best friend. He didn't even say a word to me and I didn't blame him. Seeing that it seemed that nothing was going to change, when and if Elena came back to life, maybe I was going to leave. I don't know where I could've gone but anywhere would beat bring near the love of my life that destroyed my heart.
        "...Ashton. Don't worry, this has all happened before. Elissa went through the same thing." I said.
        "Elena isn't Elissa. She is her own person and now she's dead. She doesn't have the power to come back Sidmin. I should kill you for even suggesting that it's possible for her to return." yelled Ashton, getting into my face. I didn't want to tell him about the secret, about how Elena actually was Elissa. I kept my calm and once again, Jordan did nothing to protect me.
"Ashton, listen to me. She's coming back, she has to." I said.
He grabbed my by my collar and through me to the ground. Jordan growled but quieted down as Ashton growled at him. "I will not stand for disobedience, even from you. You could've saved her, but you didn't. And now.....I'm going to kill you!" said Ashton, pointing to me. His bones began popping out of place, it sounded truly disgusting. A midnight black wolf now stood in front of me, it's teeth showing to me.
"Run!" yelled Jordan. I quickly used my superhuman speed and began running, hearing the howl from Ashton. What did I get myself into? Elena's psycho wolf boyfriend was out to kill me, my wannabe wolf boyfriend hated my guts and now I was running from both of them. Another howl broke through the air, I hoped Jordan was ok.

Elena's POV

SINCE THE TOWN LOOKED THE EXACT SAME IN this dimension, I took the guys to my house so we could try to be safe from a vengeful Ashton apparently. A howl ripped through the air and I turned to the twins. "Not us, we can't shift here." We all turned around to see Ashton standing behind us. We all screamed and started running. I was the first one gone. I didn't need my super speed to outrun a wolf. I arrived at the front step on my porch and opened the door, waiting for the twins to get in. Ashton was gaining on them. As I closed the door behind the twins and double locked it, I was knocked to the ground my Ashton coming through the door.
        He paused and looked into my eyes and stepped back frightened.
        "You." He replied.
        "You're not the real Ashton are you?" I asked. Elissa came from behind me and nodded her head no. She looked at me and smiled and then Ashton just disappeared. "I needed to get you all here. You must all leave this place." she said.
        'We can't. He'll kill us."
        "No he won't, I won't let me." I said, "listen, I promise to protect you guys. We just need to find a way out here first."
