Alice couldn't stop thinking about what Cory said...

"He like, totally likes you!" Arise shouted, very bubbly. She had been changing lately. Ever since she started hanging out with Alex,It seemed like she'd forgotten who she was. She even spent the night at her house! As much as she insisted to Bella and Alice that she hated shopping, Alex and Arise even went to the mall together. On top of that, they went and got manicures. Arise, who refused to wear nailpolish or makeup for thirteen years of her life, now cried if she forgot to put on Concealer this morning. Not only was her look changing, so was her behavior. Arise the other day, who normally would have bawled if she wasn't every teacher's pet, ran out of math class to shove a doodle in Alice's face screaming, "THIS IS ALL I GOT ACCOMPLISHED! AHHAHAAA...I Didn't even pay attention." She seemed so happy...

Alice only walked away. Later that day, when Bella went to the bathroom, Arise was standing around with Alex and some other girls primping and gossiping in the mirror. When Bella stood behind them, well in view, they ignored her completely.

"He drew on my face!" Arise laughed, the other girls joining in.

After school, alice walked in to student council for a meeting. She went to take her usual seat with Arise, but she slid her hand across and said sinisterly, "Alex is sitting there."

Alice walked on and sat in the far corner desk by herself. She swore she noticed Arise looking over at her and laughing. When a boy came in later, Arise pulled up another chair and let him join in. Alice scoffed at this attitude. There was no way this could have happened to her Arise. The real one was deep in there somewhere; and she was going to bring her out.

"He is practically begging you to ask him out again." Bella added.

"But we haven't really talked in over nine years!" Alice exclaimed.

"You've still like seen each other around. Alice, I know you've had classes with him!" Arise said.

"Yeah, but..." Alice trailed off. What if he's not like he was all those years ago; what if he's a completely different person?

"Alice, i say go for it." Bella said.

"NO! I have to at least talk to him more first. In time." She protested.

"Maybe youre right," Bella agreed, "That time is now; we're gonna be late for PE. See ya Arise!" She said pulling alice into the gymnasium.

Alice walked in and took her seat on the floor in front of Addison. This was going to be a long day.
