Alice wasn't ready for her first day of gym. She hadn't exercised for months, and she was clearly our of shape. Although she wasn't fit, she wasn't fat, either. She only weighed 80 pounds, but those pounds were mostly body fat, not muscle. She sighed and looked around at all the athletes, including Bella, who does gymnastics four hours a night. She was excited to get to spend time with Addison, Jane, and Brianna, finally. She walked into the changing room in the back and glanced around, sizing everyone up. The whole lot made her uncomfortable, and she didn't like that she had to expose herself to them, but it is what it is. She spun in the combination: 6-65-0
"Hah," Christina laughed quietly from beside her.
"What?" Alice scoffed. What could she be laughing at? She was still fully clothed.
"I was just going to say, your locker combination is almost satanic."
This made even Alice laugh. "Well, it's a perfect match then."
"Almost satanic, but not quite?"
"Sounds like what Mr.Boyle's will be writing on my teacher recommendation for that scholarship."
Christina laughed with her, throwing her gym shirt over her head. Alice glanced before she did, though. Hm.
"That's a really pretty dress, by the way." Chris added as Alice slipped it off. Why was she watching her undress?
"Thanks," she said shoving it into her locker. It was navy blue with a pink and baby blue floral pattern from the waist up. She wore baby blue converse to match it. She quickly threw on shorts and her mayday parade shirt, tied her shoes tightly, and bolted. Out in the gym, she realized she would get to spend as much time with her squad as she thought. They were always over with Andrea and Lisa playing volley ball. She looked at the crowd of basket ball players running across the court. No. She then saw, in the corner of her eye, Ace, Don, and Bella standing around a ping pong table.
"We need another player!" She said, and Alice picked up a racket.
