Friday. Today was the day Avery and I were gonna be reunited. Me and Julie got to work way earlier then we had to today. An hour early to be exact. I was chilling with Julie at the front desk. I kept looking out the see through glass door just in case I caught a glimpse of Avery.

"You need to chill. Avery will be here soon." she told me.

"I know it just feels so unreal that we both scored a job with Red One."

She just laughed. "I'm starting to think you're in love with her or something."

"Her?" I started to bust out laughing.

"What did I say?" she asked.

"Avery's not a girl he's a guy!"

"Well you're not specific enough!"

"I can't believe you thought Avery was a chick. That will be fun to tell him."

"Well then let me correct myself. I'm starting to think you're in love with him or something."

"Never. I'm with Thomas plus Avery is a friend and that's all he'll ever be."

After 40 minutes of doing absolutely nothing I heard a knock on the door. I looked behind me and there he stood. Avery. I unlocked the door and nearly tackled him with a huge bear hug. Home. I felt like I was home again.

"Hey Avery!"

"Hey Emmie!"

He looked different. Last time I seen him he had braces. Not anymore. He wore glasses. Not anymore. He was skinny as a stick. Not anymore. He was buff.

I separated from him. "You look great! I had to think before hugging you because you look so different."

"You look awesome too. And trust me still the same me on the inside." he smiled.

I pulled him inside to introduce to Julie.

"Julie. Avery. Avery. Julie."

"Hey Avery." they shook hands.

"Nice to meet you Julie. Is there a bathroom somewhere?" he asked.

"Yea down the hall first door on you left."

"Thanks." he said as he walked off.

"So Emmie huh?"

"That's what he calls me."

"Oh I see. You didn't tell me he was super attractive."

"I guess I never thought of him that way. He's changed a lot since I had last seen him. He used to be a total dork."

"Well not anymore. Thomas is gonna be jealous." she teased.

"I don't think Thomas is the type to get jealous. I mean he has nothing to be jealous about. He's just a friend."

"Well just warning you now. I've known Thomas longer and I know how he can be."

I heard the bathroom door open.

"Hey Avery want a tour of the studio?" I asked.

"Sure."

"Okay follow me." I told him as we walked down the hall.

I can't believe Julie would use that against me. Thomas won't be jealous.

Thomas P.O.V.

Me and the boys were late as usual. Eric always offers us rides which is cool but he lags too much. I guess I just like the fact that I don't have to pay for gas as much. We entered the building and Julie was in her usual spot. I couldn't wait to see Emily already, I took the lead in front of all of the guys.
