Chapter Five : Jesse Brown <3

ALEX P.OV

A few months go by and it is now Febraury. My birthday is coming up and I dont know what to do yet. School has been the same. Isaac found a girlfriend named Melanie. She is pretty but she is kind if bossy. She sits at our table and just takes Isaac food. I wouldve snatched her hand and shoved it so far up her mouth. Harsh. Hahaaha anyways me and Samantha have been hanging out alot. He is kind of like me but then she isnt. Her dad wasnt around and her mom is seeing the dentist. There a cute couple. Her mom is extremely nice and my dad treats Samantha like family. Everything is going good. Me and Jesse are flirting alot. He is cute and funny. He wants to play pro football but also wants to be family man.

"Alex!Come downstairs please" my dad yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

"COMING!"

"No yelling in the house."

When I got downstairs, my dad handed me a camera box with the title "Leica M MONOCHROM". I gasp and scream.

"Dad!Dad!Omg!Dadday!I love you! A trillion times more!Thank you!" I scream

"Happy Early Birthday babygirl". He smiled

"Your amazing, you know that right?" I kiss his cheek "your my first photo, strike a pose."

I snap a few pictures then go to my front lawn and start taking random pictures of kids playing in the street.

"Alex, hey!" Jesse yells from his driveway. He is helping his mom with groceries

"Hey, need help?"

"Yes, please." His mom Sarah said.

I help unpack to the groceries, once everything is done. Mrs. Brown gives me some lemonade.

"So Alex, what are you doing for your birthday?"

"Haven't decided yet."

"Well our beachhouse is open. It's a few hours from here. You can bring your dad if you want and everyone can hang out and stuff." She smiled.

"That would be amazing Mrs.Brown. If my dad says it is alright then sure."

"What are my beautiful wife and neighbor talking about?"Mr.Brown smiles.

"The beachhouse and her birthday."

"Oh yeah, can you come? We would love to spend that day with you!"

"I'll be back."

I ran over to my house and called Samantha.

"Hey Sam"

"Hey"

"What are you doing in about three Weeks?"

"Uuh, oh im going to see my grandparents in Wisconsin."

"Awww you suck. Jesse's family has a beachhouse and I wanted to invite you."

"Alex, you should be happy you and Jesse get to be alone for your birthday." She laughs.

"Eww not yet Samantha! But I guess, I will talk to you later."

I watched to the living room to see my dad and his friend Kenneth watching football.

"Dad, I have a question"

"What's up?"

"Jesse's family invited us to go to there beach house for my birthday. Please. Please."

"You sure you dont just want to see Jesssssseeeeeee?"

"Dad!" I laughed "I have enough respect to do the dirty when my parent isnt 10 feet away."

"Good girl. And yeah we can go."

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

When I got back to Jesse's house, I knocked and said hi to Mr.Brown again.

" I can go! Well we can go. My dad is coming. With us. Not now. K bye."

"Alex" he laughed "Come in."

When I came in, Mrs.Brown was cooking dinner. Oh how much I wished I still had my mom to cook dinner.

"Smells great Mrs.Brown."

"Why thank you sweetheart. Oh Jesse is in his room getting into his dinner clothes, can you go get him?"

Go to Jesse's room? Suuure (;

"Knock, knock" I smiled and walked in.

His room looked kind of scary. His walls where black with trophys everywhere. His bed was red. What kind of private school boy has his rooms black?

"Not what you expected?" He laughed.

"Not at all. Well your mom said it's time for dinner, it smells great so your lucky."

"Your not gonna stay?"

"Nah, my dad made pasta." I laughed "thanks anyway Jesse."

"So are you coming to the beachhouse?

"Yeah, my dad is too."

"Great. It will be one of the funniest birthdays ever."

"I hoped."

I waved goodbye to the Browns and went home to eat dinner with my dad. Can't wait for my birthday, 18th birthday to be exact!
