Chapter 17: My little princess

I opened my eyes, wiped my tears; while finding myself on my bed. This teleportation thing won’t last long, I guess. Ethan was my happy thought! But he is slowly fading away from my heart. I don’t want to love anymore, I just wanted to go home.

As I laid there thinking in my room, I heard footsteps peering over my door. I could see a shadow beneath my door frame. But I didn’t care.

Then I saw a flash of light, gleaming in front of my door. My whole door had been glowing, turning transparent. While a tall figure became visible, and walked through it. As if he or she, had been walking through a wall. Then suddenly the person faded back to his or hers original color; of skin, eyes, nose and lips.

It was just Auntie Katie. How the hell did she walk through my door, I guess she was more updated than the rest of us angels. Well mainly me…

I guess even though Ethan had been my happy thought he caused me to lose sight of what was important, in my life. Auntie Katie first told me that I need to discover the powers I had. But I know there is more instead of teleportation, hair color changing through emotions, and the power of healing myself.

But if my hair changes color so often with my emotions, how come it didn’t happen last night. When I was crying and even now?

“Earth to Heather!” Auntie Katie chuckled while trying to get my attention.

“Sorry, I guess I just had a bad night.” I wiped the rest of my tears as she held my chin up.

“let me guess Ethan tried to have sex with you.” She continued to chuckle once more.

“Wait how did you-“ I stood there stunned as she continued to retell my whole night, including exactly what happened.

“I read minds remember.” She laughed.

“Oh yeah, I guess I should have known.” I chuckled slightly.

“You’re hair didn’t change color because you grew.” She said calmly.

“Grew?” I stood there with a blank expression.

“Yes you are now able to harness, and control the powers that you have discovered. Before I remember when I used to read your mind when you were younger, that always gave you a head ache. And sometimes you would even, pass out.

I guess Auntie Katie was right, I’m growing and discovering my importance in life! I guess I shouldn’t be so angry, because if it wasn’t for Ethan than…I probably wouldn’t be where I am now. I learned so much.

In that moment I saw Auntie Katie smile wider, than she ever had before. I guess the woman was reading my mind. You could tell that she was overjoyed, that I had listened to her. She kissed me on my forehead while her hands grabbed my face.

Then she drew back her arms and reached for something deep, inside her leather jacket pocket. She pulled out something shiny and silver from out of her pocket. A silver heart necklace surrounded, by rhinestones.

Just like the one I lost, but you could still tell those two diamonds were still there but another became visible. The necklace began to shine brighter, as another diamond grew in place. So three out of six diamonds were visible I wonder what that meant.

“I had you’re necklace the whole time, even thought I am disappointed that you lost it. But in the end this necklace showed how much you have grown. The new diamond becoming visible in our eye sight, shows that you learned about some of your powers, you felt love for the first time, and you have discovered a happy thought. I’m proud of you!”

I stood there amazed by the necklace and how, far I have come. Auntie Katie had been right about everything. If only I could tell my mom.

As Auntie Katie unclasped the necklace lock, she surrounded it by my neck closing the lock at the end. I was happy that I had the necklace again, and this time I won’t take it off. I felt stronger than I ever had before. I was happy…

My necklace started to light up, gleaming in blue light. Then it slowly subsided in color. I felt new, and refreshed.

“I’m Heather Peyton…an Ameration angel in training…or I guess...Um…I’m learning.” I said with a chuckle and a smile on my face.

I jumped in the air, and closed my eyes. Feeling myself being watched closely, I opened my eyes again. I had seen my dad peering over my door frame, smiling.  I was floating in the air. And I didn’t use my wings. I could feel a message being sent to me…It was my dad. Wasn’t the man standing less than a meter away from me…Like what the hell!

But even though I had been annoyed, I answered him anyway. He said,

I’m so proud, and I knew that you’re aunts psychology would work. You’re my little princess.

I responded by saying:

Thanks dad, I love you
