Shining Armour 👓
I feel a sharp poke. I ignore it and go back to my amazing dream. After about 5 seconds I feel it again. This time I wake up. Cadence is moaning and looking very sick.
"It's happening"
"You mean..."
"Yes! Now get the carriage"
I panic! Cadence has been pregnant for 8 months now. We do not know if we have a boy or a girl. But no need to go over this now! She is having a foal!
I canter as fast as my four hooves will go to pull up the carriage in front of the crystal palace. I glance at the clock tower. It reads 1:37 am. Then I run back inside to get her. I support her to the carriage and drive as fast as I can. One of the royal perks is police don't care how fast your going.
"*MOOOOAAAAAANNNNN*!!!!!!"
"Shhhhhh, your going to be fine"
We dash into the delivery area of the Crystal hospital. Many onlookers whisper and gossip about us as we pass. No time to care. Finally, we lay her down on a hospital bed. Oh gosh! This is the scariest moment of my life.
46 minutes later:
Cadence💞
"Princess?"
"*pant pant* yes nurse?"
"I am pleased to say that you have a healthy beautiful baby filly"
When I see her for the first time my eyes fill with tears. I gently take her from the nurse's hooves and rock her slowly in my arms. Shining armour seems too amazed to say anything. Her soft pink colour reminds me of a flower that has just bloomed. Her blue/purple twist mane is like sweet toothpaste that makes your tastebuds happy. Her baby blue eyes are so full of curiosity and wonder.
"Cadence.....What will we name her?"
"Do you want to choose her name?"
"I'll let you choose since your the mother"
"I like the name Flurry Heart"
I fill out a birth certificate. The doctor gives me an information sheet"
Flurry Heart:
Time: 2:43 am
Weight: 85 pounds
Height: 3 feet tall
Mother: Princess Cadence
Father: Shining Armour
As soon as we get home I lay in bed with Flurry Heart. Shining goes back out to buy some things for the foal but I am too busy being in love with my child.
I decide to text Twilight to let her know:
Cadence: Shining and I just had a filly
Twilight: OMG!!!!!! What is her name?
Cadence: Flurry Heart
Twilight: Pretty! Send me a pic
Cadence🦄
Twilight: That is just an emoji
Cadence: Lol! So r we good?
Twilight: not yet. Wait, you and my brother.....
Cadence: umm, good night
Twilight:OH WAIT! Flash purposed *Twilight left the conversation*
Holy mother of the lord! My #1 guard not only stayed with Twilight but is now marrying her? Goodness that is just terrible! If twilight hadn't left the conversation I would have said some things I regretted. Well, back to the baby!
