|~Chapter 7~|

I saw his body flinch, I jumped on him. His eyes opened and he took in a deep breath. His skin slowly began to become more peach. He looked at me and I saw tiny bit of fear in his eyes. I held the stake in place in case he tried to get away.

"Who are you?" I said.

"You should know." He laughed. I pushed the stake in slowly.

"Who are you?" I shouted.

"Silas." He said. I pulled it out again.

"Where is Stefan?" I sneered.

"A place you will never find him." He said.

I pushed the stake in again, he was yet still laughing. I push it all the way and he became silent. I got up and off and dragged him back. I went to where the candles once were. Everyone was gone. I looked down at him. I began to for my phone in my jacket but remember last night that Silas took it. I looked through his pockets and found a random phone. I looked through the contacts and found Klaus. I rang but no answer. I laid down in the floor and breathed out. It was dark out now. I closed my eyes trying to think of a spell. I searched my entire brain but I couldn't find one again.

I sat up and looked at Silas's limp body. I got up and dragged it into a bush. I began to walk out the forest and start the long walk back to town. I walk for about half an hour when I finally saw a car coming. I tried to get its attention but they didn't look. I groaned and carried on walking. Sooner or later I finally got back to town and I got in my car. I started the engine and sat there for a few minutes. I drove off to back to the forest to collect his body.

I got out the car and headed towards the bush. His body was gone. I stood in shock, where could his body gone? I heard footsteps behind me. I slowly turned around to Silas stood over. He had the stake in his hand, he dropped it on the stake. I looked down at it and back at him. He stepped closer.

"You will regret what you did." He said.

"Will I now? You weren't saying that when I stabbing a stake into your heart?" I said up to him.

He grunted at me before grabbing hold of me. I tried to struggle my way out but I couldn't. I screamed as loud as I could. He covered my mouth to stop me. I took my magic and push it onto him. It didn't affect hardly, he did uncover my mouth to hold his head. I got out of his grip as he took of hold of his head with his other hand. I push even more magic on him than before.

Next all I saw was blackness.

I woke up. I was still in the forest and Silas was gone. I sat up to feel a throbbing headache coming on. I held my head in pain, I groaned before standing up. I felt dizzy and sick. I slowly walked over to my car. I got in and sat there for a bit. I started the car and drove off. I got back home and went inside. I ran upstairs and into my room.

"Where have you been?" Angela asked.

She sat in my room. I rolled my eyes and walked straight to my wardrobe. I pulled some clothes and got changed.

"Still haven't answered my question." Angela said.

"I wanted some time alone." I said.

I put my hair into a top knot and then sat down next to her.

"What did you do?" She asked.

"I found something out." I said.

"What did you find you?" She asked.

"Lets just say Silas is on the loose again." I said getting up.

"What?" She screamed.

I ran out the door not wanting to listen Angela scold me for doing something that might just help get answer. I ran downstairs and into the kitchen. I grabbed a bottle of water and a banana. I went out the door and got back in the car. I went to throw the water and banana into the passenger seat but it landed on the lap of someone instead. I looked up to see Klaus. He smiled and laughed.

"Didn't expect that now did you?" He laughed.

"Creep." I said before driving off.

"I would like you to go to the forest." Klaus said.

"Ok then sir." I joked.

I headed towards the forest. I parked the car and we got out. He guided over to area in the forest I never been before. We stood by cliff which led down to deep lake.

"What are we here for?"

"I wanted to tell you something." He said.

"Yes,what is it?" I asked.

"I think your ready to defeat my enemy." He said, I smiled. He was going to let me free once I defeated the enemy.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"I have been running from him for a long time and he has somehow caught me up." He said.

"Who is it?" I asked again.

"Silas." He said, he gave me a moment to process it. I couldn't believe after all of this the enemy is the one person that absolutely hates my guts.

"Why him?" I asked annoyed at who it was.

"You don't chose your enemies." He said.

"You technically do." I said.

"Whatever." Klaus said before looking over the edge.

"What is it?" I asked walking beside him.

"The step to defeating him." He said.

"The lake?" I said with attitude, that really would help. Trying to find something in thei deep lake would take for forever.

"Yes, now I can't say no more." He said stepping back

"But what I meant to find?" I asked turning around to see no one was there.

I turned back to the lake and huffed. I peered over and studied it. If I jump in that normally there is a small chance I could break a leg and knowing me I would. It was also very deep, so I could drown and the thing I am looking for - if it was an object- may be impossible to find. I took my jacket off and my shoes. I stepped back a few paces.

"Here goes nothing." I said.

I ran and jump into the lake. I dropped down and fell into the cold deep water. I luckily didn't break any bones. I swam back up to the surface to catch my breath. I took a deep breath before surface diving into the lake. I searched around partly with my hands and my eyes when I could. I came across a big old safe, maybe this is what he was talking about. Maybe it held some type of map or spell to kill him. Before I knew I had automatically swam up to the top of the lake. I catch my breath and thought about that safe. I knew it, the safe was the first step.

I swam to the side and held on. I felt tired and my lungs actually ached. I knew I had to try to get to safe one more time. Ignoring the pain signals my body was giving me, I dove back in back in and headed towards the safe. I touched the wheel and put both hands on it. I tried my hardest to try but I hardly did anything. I put all my strength into it and I managed to turned it. It got easier the more I did it.

I was so close to to opening when something dragged me back up out the water and into the surface. There was no one there, I looked around before diving into the water again. I reached the safe and I turned the wheel one more time and the door burst open. The power of the door against the water pushed me back up the surface. I swam back down to the safe to find something I didn't expect to find.

A Body. But not just any body, it was a vampire. I got the body out and tried to swim to the surface with it. I got to the top and and managed to get on the side.

I could tell now it was a guy and I realised why he was the first step. He is the other doppelgänger, this must be Stefan.
