|~Chapter Twenty Eight~|

We walked back to the house. When we got inside, I realised my skirt and shoes were all muddy. I groaned and slammed Bonnie's book on the table to the right of me.

"Careful, you may break the table." Bonnie joked.

"I need to find Stefan so he can drop me off. I had a great day, thanks. If the veil is down tomorrow, I will be back." I said.

"See you then." Bonnie said as I turned and walked off.

I went up the stairs and headed down the hallway. I could voices coming from one room but I wasn't sure of it was Stefan or not. I walked up to the door and put my ear against the door. I heard Elena in there and another guy. A big shout came from the room. It was Damon in there as well. I stepped away from the door and walked away. Heading down the hall, I began to realise how big this place actually was. I came to another small set of stairs and I headed up them. I remembered the room up here was Stefan's room. He was sat on the bed looking through a book.

"Lost in your book?" I asked, his head popped up.

"Just an old diary. What do you need?" He asked shutting his dairy and placing it on the bed.

"I need an ride home...if that's possible?" I asked.

"Yeah sure, I will just...grab...my...coat. What is that in your hair?" He asked getting up and coming over to me.

"I am not sure." Just as I went to feel my hair, he did it instead. He picked a dead leaf out.

"Got it." He smiled. "Your covered in mud."

"Don't think I know that?" He then laughed before grabbing his coat.

We walked down the hall and down the stairs.

"Are we going back on the motorcycle?" I asked.

"Oh course. If you want a ride home. It has to be the vehicle I want to give you a ride on , plus my cars needs mending so it's the only way we get you home."

"Oh right." I laughed. We turned the corner from going down the stairs and we saw Damon stood watching the door, he had a glass in his hand. He turned and threw the glass into the room behind him. The glass hit the fire. "Damon...you...ok?"

"Yeah sure, does it look like it?" He snapped walking off.

We walked out the door and towards Stefan's motorcycle. He passed me a helmet and we both got on. He started the engine and I wrapped my hands about his waist. He drove off and sped down the road. To be honest I didn't mind motorcycle rides, I hate the feeling of falling off though which it is what I always felt with Angela. It would be very weird for me to put my arms around her waist.

Stefan drove so fast, it wasn't long before we got back home. He pulled slowly and stopped when he parallel to Angela's bike. I got off and pulled the helmet off. I passed it to him but he pushed it back.

"Are you coming back tomorrow?" He asked.

"Yeah, why?" I asked.

"Keep it until then." I looked over at my car.

"Why don't I just come in my car? It's disappearing into the hedge." We both laughed.

"No don't worry, I will come pick you up tomorrow. I will text you." He said. He revved the engine.

"Alright then, I need to get going. Bye." I waved.

"Bye!" He called as he drove off.

I went throughout the front door and quickly ditched my boots at the front door. I ran up the stairs and towards my bedroom. I closed my door behind me and leaned on it to gain back my breath. Looking over to my wardrobe, I thought of what to change into. Heading over to it, I choose to just change into one of my dresses.
