chapter twenty two

|~ Chapter twenty two~|

|<Jane's POV>|

"I heard movement coming from upstairs." Klaus said putting his glass down.

"Same." I agreed looking up at the ceiling.

I stood up and left the room. I ran up the stairs and went to the room we locked Angela and Silas in. I unlocked it and opened the door to see the window broken. Both were gone. I titled my head and groaned.

Failed to capture them then.

I left the room and went back downstairs.

"This day sucks!" I moaned sitting back down.

"Why?" Klaus asked.

"Well, I can't go outside, Lewis is dead and they have got away. Basically everything has gone to poop."

"Poop?" He mocked.

"Yes, don't mock me." I moaned.

I grabbed the bottle of whiskey and poured myself a drink. I chugged it down before standing up and walking off. I went into the kitchen and slowly stepped into the light. I waited for myself to burn but I didn't. I jumped for joy. Maybe Angela lowered the spell as a peace offering.

I ran back into the hallway where Klaus stood. I ran up to him and hugged wrapping my legs around his waist. I knocked him back a couple of steps. He eventually hugged me back.

"No more spells on me, well apart from that one you put on me." I said.

"Let's go outside." He said.

I jumped off him and we went outside. We walked over to his car and got in.

"Where we going?" I asked.

"To find those two." He said.

We sat in the Grill with a drink. We got bored as soon as we set off so we just came here. Klaus had gone to the restroom leaving me alone at the bar. We were the only ones in the place and Jeremy was working the bar.

"Quiet huh?" I said as he came over.

"Yeah, abnormally quiet." He said. "I see you can walk in the sun."

"Yeah I was going crazy in that house." I said.

"Bet it was good to get out." He laughed.

"It was, I was jumping for joy." I laughed waving my hands about.

The door open and a very annoyed looking Damon came looking in.

"Jer! Where's your sister?" He called as he walked up to the bar.

"I don't know, she said something about heading back to college, classes and that lot. Give her a call." Jeremy said.

"She is not picking up and I have called Caroline who said she wasn't at college. Stefan is missing too." Damon huffed.

"Maybe her and Stefan have ran off together." I joked. Damon glared at me and put my hands in protest.

"If you see her or him, tell them I am looking for them." Damon said before walking back out.

Jermey walked back up to me and leaned on the bar.

"Busy household you got." I commented.

"Like you wouldn't believe, it's hard to sleep sometimes." He laughed.

"Too much infomation there!" I waved my hands and leaned back.

"Sorry but I am only telling the truth." He laughed.
