Chapter eight

We sat there watching them. Klaus sat there with Rebekah and some guy. I could tell the guy was interested in Rebekah. He had her arm around her, if he knew I was her best friend he should careful because I will be sure to rip him apart in minutes. Katherine sat next to me, we both sat there silent, just watching them.

"Do you know who that guy is?" I asked.

"Yes, Seftan Salvatore. A vampire I turned actually. I was in love with him, I think I still I am but how I can say I shut my human side off." She laughed off, I laughed letting his name sink in. I heard his name. People call him a ripper.

"You thirsty?" She asked me breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Yes, nearly dying." I said. She looked around and caught with a random boy. She indicated him to come over. I held my breath, knowing what was going it happen next.

"Listen, your not going to scream or run. Your going to sit there and let us drink your blood. After we finished you will go to the toilets, clean yourself. Then walk to the river and jump in." She said into his eyes obviously compelling him. He nodded and didn't move.

I shuffled near to Katherine a bit more and grabbed a wrist, she looked at me like I was idiot and move his neck towards me. I took hold and went to press my fangs to skin but I couldn't.

"Seriously? Your humanity controls you. I didn't turn you to then be weak, I turned you because you wanted to rebel. Not just against Klaus but the world, be the vampire everyone is scared of. Why don't you just flick the switch?" She said.

Flicking the switch was never a question I wanted to answer. I didn't want to do it, if I flicked the switch who knows what would happen. But I did want to be something different, not me. Not the weak girl who sits in the corner waiting for someone to try and kill Klaus.

"Your right." I said. I felt my emotions one last time and flicked the switch. I felt nothing almost uplifted. I grabbed the neck and brought it to my mouth. I dug my fangs into his skin and I began to drip his sweet blood, I could taste alcohol in his blood. He must been here a while.

"Leave some for me!" Katherine protested. I ripped my fangs out and passed the body to her. I wiped my mouth.

"I am going to get alcohol." I said standing up. Before we would walk all the way around the room, just to get to the bar so Klaus wouldn't see us but this time I didn't. I didn't care if the saw me, at least they see that I was here and I wasn't hiding. I was only steps away from the table when something stopped me in my tracks. I smelt the sweet smell of blood. It was coming from their table, klaus was sucking the blood and soul out of a random girl. I carried on with no sense of feeling. I walked past the table with grace in my step. The tassels in my dress swinging. I wish my hair was down but I had to keep up since it was the fashion. I felt eyes burn on my back but I didn't stop.I arrive at the bar and think about a drink. The bar tender comes up to me and I fake smile at him.

"Your going to give the first bottle you see and give it to me. Then I am going to walk without paying and you won't say nothing about it." I say straight into his eyes compelling him. He nods his head, just like the boy did before and he passed a bottle of whiskey. It will do, I walk back swigging the bottle a couple of times. I looked across at Klaus this time as I walked past. Our eyes never breaking as I walk pass. I get back to the table to see the boy was gone. I put up my bottle and she clapped.

"You know what I am going to, give klaus something, get back at him." I said.

"What you doing?" She asked.

"Just watch." I say smiling and spinning on my heel and walking over to the table. I slammed the bottle on the table. Rebekah smiles, the Stefan kid just stares confused and klaus scowls but has hint of joy in his eyes. I give him a fake smile before picking the bottle up and pouring over all the table. Rebekah faced turned into horror and Klaus began to get annoyed. I placed the bottle back on the table.

"What are you doing?" Klaus asked.

"Something I should of done a long time ago." I say stepping towards him. Nothing like fear or worry passes over me, could do anything I wanted as I won't feel guilty. I sat next to him in the booth and out my arms around his neck.

"This is what I want too." He said. I could tell now he don't know about me flicking the switch. I gave him a flirty smile. I took my lips to his and dug my nails deep into the back of his neck. I knew the pain wouldn't annoy him but I wanted to hurt as much I could. He took my body in his and pressed me up against him. I looked across to see Rebekah and Stefan gone. I looked at Klaus who had his eyes closed and everything. What a fool he was. I took upon myself to stop kissing him because I was bored of this.

"I knew it." He said.

"Knew what?" I said all happily and bubbly like I was happy because we just kissed.

"That I would get your love." He said, what a fool.

"Yes you got my love and I guess I got yours." I said before rolling my eyes when he didn't see.

"Yes you did." He said before pressing his lips by my ear.

"I need a drink." I said taking hands from around his neck.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"Blood." I said.

"You turned?" He asked surprised.

"Yes, I thought you were there when I woke up." I said.

"No, I left when you scream in my face that you hate me and then Katherine came and snapped my neck. I saw you a couple a nights ago with her but I didn't want to bover you, you seemed happy." He said.

I stood up and went up to a girl stood near the table. I smiled a her before grabbing her neck and digging my fangs in. I covered her mouth so she didn't scream. I managed to leave some blood inside of her. I dragged my fangs out and I took hold of her head.

"Your going to clear yourself in the bathroom, come out back out here, get a drink and forget this ever happen. Oh and cover your neck with something." I said looking into her eyes compelling her. She smiled at me and turned to go the bathroom. I walked back over to the table to see Klaus sat in amazement.

"Did you just do that?" He asked.

"Yes, got a problem?" I asked.

"No, just it wasn't something I see you doing." He said.

I took hold of him and kissed him again. I managed to press myself up against him and I ran my hands down his back until the reached his waist. He slowly moved his hands lower and began to move us around so my back was against the seat. His eyes were luckily because I began to look around the room and I saw Katherine watching us. I began to move my lips slower but he stopped completely. He pulled back and I saw sadness in his eyes.

"What's wrong?" I asked pretending to actually care what was wrong with him.

"I can't. You different, your emotionless, you flicked the switch." He said moving off me and sitting down next to me.

"Caught me." I said swiftly putting my hands up.

"I can't believe you! I actually thought you cared about me!" He yelled.

"Please! Your such a fool, the only time I would begin to think caring about is when your willing to break me from this evil spell." I laughed.

He stood up and saw Katherine. She gave him a cheeky wave. Tilling her head back with laughter making her bob cut sway. I got up and stood by klaus.

"This may of worked, if you didn't treat like you did." I said before giving a kiss on the cheek before going over to Katherine and sitting next to her. I watched him as he sat back down and put head in his hands.

"You are way better with out your human side!" Katherine praised. I looked feeling nothing but emptiness which is something I could get use to.
