|~Chapter Twenty Seven~|

"You don't look happy to see me, why?" Kol asked.

"Why are you here? Who put the veil down?" I asked within one breath.

"Not sure." He answered. "To both questions really since you know you have been fooling around with my brother. I know we were 1000 lightyears from being anything more than friends but I feel sad to think that you gone so low."

"Shut up!" I snapped before walking over go Angela's room. I banged on the room very loudly. Kol followed me. "Kol, do have any idea who did this?"

"It was definitely someone nearby. I think, how should I know?" He said.

Angela opened the door rubbing her eyes. Her eyes suddenly widen when she saw Kol. "Please tell I am dreaming." She moaned.

A slam of the front door made all of our heads turn in unison to the stairs. We all walked over to see Klaus locking the door. I looked over at Angela to see Elijah stood next to her.

"Ahh Elijah, how nice to see you again." Kol whispered.

"Kol, I guess someone has dropped the veil." Elijah said back.

"Why does commented on that first than they are happy to see me." Kol moaned.

"Maybe because once your here, we know someone is trying to stir up trouble." Elijah spoke with a harsh tone.

We all looked back at Klaus to see him staring up at us. He looked forward and carried on walking. His muddy shoes left some marks on the floor.

"Where has he been?" Angela asked.

"Been getting lucky in the forest." I laughed.

Kol and Angela automatically bursted into fits of laughter. Katherine was sneaking up the stairs and Hayley came out her room, half asleep. They both came over to us.

"What is going on?" Hayley asked.

"Klaus has just got back from fooling around with Caroline in the woods." Kol said. She laughed a bit.

"Who are you?" Hayley asked.

"Nicklaus and Elijah's brother, one of the dead ones." Kol said.

"Nice." She said awkwardly.

Klaus came up the left hand stairs, studying us. He looked at us one to another. Looking harder at Kol and Katherine.

"Kol, how happy I am to see you. Even though I am confused who put the veil down. Katherine how nice for you to turn up, rumour has it you were the one who took the cure." Klaus said. "I thought nighttime for was sleeping, not gossiping by the stairs."

"I think I am going to go to bed." Katherine said.

"Me too." Hayley said.

"Me too." Elijah said.

"Me as well." Angela said.

They all went off their rooms and shut the doors. Me, Klaus and Kol stood alone in the hallway.

"So Klaus I heard you were with Caroline in the woods doing something you weren't supposed to be doing, what's wrong with Jane here?" Kol broke the silence.

"Kol, shut up. Please." I moaned.

"And why is it your business brother to choose who I am with?" Klaus took a step towards his brother.

"You know I am off to bed because some people need to sleep." I pointed to myself and turned around to walk to my bedroom.

"Jane, one quick question before you go." Kol called after me.
